Dear leader definitely has a knack for voice acting, the ebonics section was fantastic. It's the kind of voice acting that you'd encounter in a 90s FPS.

I use the G502 as well but I'm using an ancient version of their software. Fantastic mouse, I've had it for close to a decade.
My G502 Hero has quite a bit of mileage on it, and much like any Logitech mouse it developed a nasty double click months into use. Sent it last minute on a free warranty repair, they changed the switches, hasn't double clicked since, and now I'd be able to resolder them myself. My trick to avoiding the software is binding all the extra keys to F13-F24 keys, then writing AutoHotkey macros to utilize them. That way I don't need to have the software installed or running, and if I want to swap the profile or change the DPI there's Onboard Memory Manager which is a portable EXE which can be used to change most of the mouse settings.

That being said, Logitech's quality went down the gutter in the recent years and they're charging exorbitant prices for their hardware. Which is a shame since they have the best designs on the market. For example the new G502 X seems like a great upgrade, but at the same time there's plenty of negative reviews, such as the cable being so dogshit that it rubs through down to the copper during regular usage. Basically it's a shit market if you're looking for a good mouse since all the good designs are also of dogshit quality,

But if Null is looking for a lightweight mouse with extra buttons that can serve both as a gaming mouse and a productivity mouse, the G502 X is his best bet. The scroll wheel is what you'd expect from a G502, you can tilt it left and right as well as unlock it for freespin scrolling. And if you use your head right then all those extra macro buttons can prove immensely useful, and the G502 has just the right amount of them in all the right places. Here Logitech also decided to go with the optical switches so you'll no longer have the infamous Logitech double click.

Somehow mine has lasted this long without the double click or really any issues at all. Only thing I've had to do is replace the feet. Fingers crossed because I really don't want to hunt for a replacement.

I buy at least one of these a year because they keep breaking but I really like the mouse it just falls apart.

Is there a better option for super lightweight mouse that has two thumb buttons and clickable middle wheel (not click to unlock scroll)?
I'd recommend a Logitech G403, which is what I use. I like that it doesn't force me to keep the software installed. You can install it once, do settings, save them to the mouse, uninstall. Companies like Razer force you to register a fucking account and keep their software running 24/7 for it to function. G403's still break within 2 years for me. But that's more acceptable than the 2-6 months I got out of Razer Deathadders before.

This is the first time I listened to MATI from start to finish plus the comment section at the end.

Null fuck the AI hardware shit, buy a shortwave radio transmitter and become a famous radio host. I can just imagine senile old fucks listening to you put on indian, arab and everything else accents and talking shit about islam.

(for those who don't know, shortwave radio range is insane, the quality is shit but it is where you hear the real nutty conspiracy shit, if he got an SW transmitted I think the whole US might be able to hear him which would be hilarious like he's a televangelist or something)
