My favourite true crime podcast, The Murder Sheet, recently did an episode on Luigi's case. It's a little bit out of date given recent developments but is worth listening to as they've clearly been following the case behind the scenes. They did great coverage on the Delphi case and I'd highly recommend following their work; this episode doesn't cover anything we haven't heard before, but they've indicated they'll do episodes on the suppression hearing and legal goings on in the case (one of the hosts is an attorney).


Also, Karen filed a letter to Carro when Seidemann asked for the trial to begin in July. She outlines all the reasons why she won't be ready for the state trial given the federal schedule. This is probably moot given that the state trial seems to be starting in June, but makes a worthwhile read.

The Rolling Stone did an interesting article on Luigi's double jeopardy claims; according to the lawyers cited it isn't. Double jeopardy doesn't come until play until Luigi is convicted in whichever trial goes first. However, because the federal charges and state charges are different (interstate stalking in the former and murder and firearms in the latter) he'll likely be tried twice regardless.

I go back and forth between him being potentially bi to straight but so homosocial he comes across as gay. He had at least two gay male friends (unusual) and seemed to strongly prefer the thoughts of men based on his Goodreads, but he's also obviously attracted to women based on his past girlfriends, thai whatsapp and social media. He's an odd kettle of fish to say the least. You don't think he might go a little prison gay? 😏

I noticed these weren’t posted here because the tourists were busy shitting up the thread with their personal vendettas at the time, but anyway, Reddit posts from his ex Kaitlyn (the one in the pics on page 16) were found a couple of weeks ago, and she’s definitely talking about Luigi here.

If her story is true, his dick technically worked after the surgery, but he couldn’t feel anything. She says they were just friends until he had a crisis of self, confessed his love for her, then dumped her after just 2 months for his Asia trip. The timeline doesn’t make much sense since his own reddit posts didn’t indicate nerve problems continuing after surgery or any accident over the holidays, so some people believe he lied as a “it’s not you it’s me” excuse to leave her.

Thanks for posting these! Very interesting. She's clearly extremely attached to him, feelings I don't think he reciprocated fully if we are to believe Luigi was her biggest critic, even if he made the initial love confession. Luigi likely had murder fantasies already by this time and realised he couldn't commit to a woman if he ever wanted to act on them, so Kaitlyn sadly had to go. I'm curious now as to why Luigi had gas station boner pills in his possession if he can get an erection and ejaculate with no issues except sensation.

Do you have an archive of her Tumblr?

Edit: I'm even more curious as to when Luigi's red pill era/misogyny arc began, and why. If he was best friends with Kaitlyn for two years before dating and had other female friends in his life I'm curious as to why he found red pill rhetoric so appealing. Maybe his mother really did a number on him?

If Luigi was really “best friends” with Kaitlyn before falling for her, he must have known he was sticking his dick in crazy, right? She doesn’t seem to hide it at all. She’s probably exaggerating the BFF part, but he knew her personality. One theory is that he was using her promiscuity to test drive his dick problems, since she seems to be a bit of a slut. Maybe he didn’t think she would get so attached to him.

It was also pointed out that she lowkey insulted him on that reddit post with “I’ve dated countless boys… mostly good-looking, popular, high demand jocks… but I’ve never felt so seen than with this person” kek

It was also discovered that she tweeted at him while he was missing. These were archived by Wayback which doesn’t normally archive X so one of them must have done it.

I miss the lc threads so much rn, this would have been hilarious milk. I went from being sad for Kaitlyn to understanding why Luigi dipped so fast and so soon, and why he criticised her; bitch is genuinely nuts. Cluster Bs often exaggerate intimacy in relationships and can be good at hiding their symptoms until you really get to know them, so perhaps Luigi and her were more casual friends, he confessed attraction after a crush and made a smart decision for once when he got a taste of her crazy. I don't get the impression that Luigi is emotionally mature and would be receptive to a very emotionally intense woman, despite being a magnet for BPDs.

Her subtle insults you pointed out are hilarious as well. Wouldn't Luigi be handsome, athletic and successful by any normal standard? 😂 I'm probably just too broke to understand Kaitlyn tbh.

As for the test drive theory, it does make sense, but he wouldn't need a full blown relationship with her to get his dick wet; she seems the type to respond to a bit of breadcrumbing with a quick spreadeagle. I'll give him some grace that he probably was feeling very vulnerable sexually and wanted to be with an understanding woman - BPDs can peform empathy very well when they idealise someone, so perhaps he felt safe with her to attempt a relationship. The fact that they were together for so little time tells me he realised very quickly he couldn't handle her bull, no matter how patiently she played with his weenie.

Maybe. I tend to hold him responsible for his actions with her, since she’s so openly insane on her public socials, but it’s possible she was a different girl in person than she was online.
