Such ignorance of history from those who want to be the arbiters of it. The entire thing seems insanely arbitrary. Why is Texas split in half randomly, including major sections of unusable desert? Why is whitey just a diagonal line of territories? Wouldn't Oklahoma be a better fit for part of le epic 'tribal nation'? And everything here is race based except for the Jeffersonians. What the fuck even is this. Not only is it oblivious to racial makeup alone, but also geography. Who would even be fighting over desert land when the nation balkanizes. There'd be far fewer resources to do fuck all with it.

There is something to be said (and Houellebecq notes this in his biography of Lovecraft) that with other genres or styles, people tell you to read some newer work that is an evolution of the genre. For Lovecraftian horror, people just tell you to read Lovecraft. None of his successors really quite got it down.

Um... are biracial people unable to use magic? Or are they like Final Fantasy Red Mages and only halfway good at magic?
The person who uses the Ultimate Spell that bars white people from magic, is, in fact, half-white. She's Polish, specifically, so either Slavs aren't white (the more hilarious explanation in a supposedly anti-racist show) or white people can still do magic. It's also possible that the show was trying to tell us that the 'one-drop' rule applies?

My question is where do they get enough joggers to populate the new wakanda? Are they importing more from Africa? Or do they have a shoggoth abomination breeding facility set up for this?

Edit: Also the hilarious racism, just play the replace game and swap out 'Jew' for every time she says White. 'We cast a spell to stop the Jews and create a horde of Jew zombies' like wow, okay.

The jogger population explodes to African shitholeutopia levels since systemic whitey was genociding them to stagnation before obviously.

I wish Guillermo Del Toro had managed to get his Lovecraft adaption off the ground.

Bonuspoints if blacks become the new overlords ruling over everyone else with an iron fist and this is somehow seen as good and just.
That's what they want to happen in real life.

How many terrible woketard shows from this fucking hack are going to get cancelled?

The answer is: not enough.

Wait what.
Another (black) character rapes someone (a white person) to death (that's not a typo or an exaggeration, a man is raped to death on screen), with the rape framed as triumphant and heroic. No more commentary here, the show legit frames a violent, brutal rape as justified and heroic because said rape was carried out by a black person.

Atticus, the main character, commits multiple war crimes, including being part of a kill squad that guns down begging nurses and tortures women and civilians to death, but again, that's White Imperialism's fault and actually, he's as innocent as a baby because black people don't make their own choices or something.
Strange Case.

I suppose he's not shown being killed outright, but there's no way he didn't die of sepsis after having his asshole ripped out/intestines punctured.

I watched the scene. I guess it's the one with some white chick falling apart to reveal a black chick underneath that stabs a guy in the ass with a high-heel while some black-shit ghetto music is playing in the background?

It's some of the sickest shit I have ever seen, especially given that it's supposed to be an "empowering" scene. Anyone defending that show in general or that scene in particular is mentally ill.

Is it supposed to be a reverse of buck breaking? Does Peele believe in that? Does Misha Green?
so how long before black people try to fuse Cthulu mythos with their Kang shit and create the Negronomicon?
That's basically voodoo / vodou. Doesn't get much more Lovecraftian than inviting strange spirits to come inhabit your body.

Oddly, one author who did get it but died far too young? RE Howard.

Wrote damned solid Lovecraftian stuff, with a Howard twist: his protags usually go down swinging or occasionally win.

In the episode, Strange Case (a reference to The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), a black character is given a potion that transforms her into a white woman. She uses it to take part in a number of activities denied to her under segregation, such as applying for certain jobs and shopping at whites-only stores.

While working as a manager at a department store, the other employees convince the sole black employee (not the woman taking the potion, whom they believe to be white) to take them on a pub/bar crawl in the black neighborhoods of the city. The black employee reluctantly agrees, and during the night out, a male manager who went with them attempts to pressure her into sleeping with him. She refuses and he calls her a nigger, causing her to run off. The transformed woman overhears the exchange and decides this is a crime worthy of death (via violent rape).

That's the full context.

Mmm, racially motivated revenge fantasies make for some quality television.

You know what's hilarious?

I have absolutely no knowledge of this show, of its content, of its characters or its storyline. I just assumed that the guy being killed via having a high-heel stabbed up his ass was some really terrible carricature of a villain, that might be part of the KKK, who might have lynched a niggo or two, danced around their dangling, thrashing bodies while singing about white pride worldwide or something equally harebrained and over-the-top evil...

But nope.

Dude's literally just a random sleazy dude who used a mean word. Sure, he's a shithead, but the way how he's killed and how it's portrayed is so vile and repulsive that I just realised that my assumption of him being a KKK mass murderer was giving the show way too much credit. This is like burning someone alive for catcalling :story:

It's shit like this that makes me wonder if Nazi Germany's iron grip around everything entertainment was really that bad of an idea. Like, if I have to choose between toxic SJW propaganda and a ministry, that'll simply forbid it by calling it entartet, shit like Lovecraft Country is making me go with the latter. Well done Hollywood. You've disgusted me so much, I would almost welcome any kind of censoring policy to reign this autism in.

And now he’s a ponzi schemereligion.

EDIT: my mistake, I was thinking of L Ron Hubbard.
