I really don't like the shape or textures of the models in the videos so far, are they going to improve?
I agree, the models look a little unpolished in some areas.

Yeah sorry about that we had to lower the poly so it look less detailed than in the render you can find on the blog, though @Todesfurcht what do you suggest we improve for the texture ?I agree, the models look a little unpolished in some areas.

Yah since we're going to have quite a number of npcs we thought lowering the poly count would help not get a shitty framerate, the 3d modeler used blender only I believe soOooh. You guys had to lower the poly count? I'm referring to the low textures in the "Love Me" video. (Especially the eyebrow, hair, and hip areas)
I'd have to know what software you are using for the rendering and/or texturing of the model, whether that's Blender, Z-Brush/Sculptris or Unity.
For starters though, I'd lower the poly count in less important areas (aka, not the face of the model).

I'm gonna see if we can do something about the face
Hey ! thanks for the info, characters are 18+ anyway because we decided to mix in japanese and western culture they're all studying in a university-preparatory school so we could have a schedule that look like a highschool one and possibility of uniformsI know this thread has been inactive for quite a while, but I've researched (and by researched I mean simply googled a question) the plausibility of colleges and universities in Japan having uniforms. https://www.quora.com/What-are-some-universities-colleges-in-Japan-that-require-a-uniform
There are a few listed here. So it is not unheard of to have the school based in a college rather than a high school with uniforms.
This way it is entirely possible to get away with saying they're of ages 18+ and keep the designing aspect simple with just a single design.
You're welcome.Hey ! thanks for the info, characters are 18+ anyway because we decided to mix in japanese and western culture they're all studying in a university-preparatory school so we could have a schedule that look like a highschool one and possibility of uniforms
