Honeypot sites with IP loggers. cUcK police can use IPAR to link an IP address with a physical address, and if the pattern of behavior triggers a red flag (said IP address regularly accesses mentioned honeypot services distributing CSAM), magistrate will grant a search warrant. When they find actual CSAM, any loli images are then used as an "extra" incriminating evidence. It's Amendments to the Coroner's Act 2010, I think? Might be 2012. It was invoked a handful of times during the 2010s, usually as a holding charge. Someone almost certainly reported her, and the UK police love online crime, they have all kinds of creepy instant right of access with big tech companies. She's royally fucked if the report included evidence that she was supplying minors with lolicon, that would elevate the charges to grooming.

The "sex offenders are forced to name themselves on social media" thing is not accurate, and certainly not someone merely accused of a crime. The legal requirement is for a sex offender to reveal all of their socials to police, and if they don't, and they're caught using an account they haven't declared, that's a separate crime in and of itself. Same for devices, pcs, laptops, phones etc, and the cops check them randomly too.

I'm not familiar with how authorities detect and follow illegal content back to people's computers.

@Null Can you explain how authorities can detect and track illegal material back to a computer and pin point someone's location? We're discussing if Mimi Yamagi had csam material and that's how they got her on an arrest.

Any number of ways similar to how the Kiwi Farms finds people, with the power of subpoenas helping them. She gets paid, right? If someone posts a very toddlercon NSFW and says "Commission by this vtuber" and she's getting paid out of paypal, they can figure out who that is very easily.

They do realize the 1st amendment doesn't give them a license to be pedophiles, right? Almost any court in the US would make the same judgment, and the ones that wouldn't should say a lot about where they are. If anything, the UK isn't strong enough on child sex crimes like this, since they allowed muslim rape gangs to run rampant for years (and potentially even to this day). If britbongs were smart they'd bring in chemical castration or the death penalty for this shit.
