I get the type of argument he's coming from but drawing an adult proportioned character and calling it a 16 year old isn't helping out the gooner community. Same thing with a literal kid being magically 300 years old.

It all boils down to, stop consuming media for teenagers with undeveloped frontal lobes. The problem is adults are consuming shit for teenaged audiences and it makes them look like creeps gooning to teenaged characters. It's literally not growing up and most anime fans are mentally 17 years old.

I'm not really surprised birth rates are lowering in Japan and it's esp sad since now their gonna have to invite rapists from the third world just too keep themselves afloat as a nation

From what I've been reading, the Gooners in Japan have been losing ground steadily because of the dropping birth rates.

It's in the same ballpark for why Lolicons in Japan itself have become heavily looked down upon more and more. Although that part pisses off Weeabos over here in the West.

While I definitely agree that there are genuinely great anime for adult audiences which get overlooked due to people exclusively focusing on shonenslop and other teen shows, this argument is not particularly good. There isn't anything wrong with an adult enjoying a good (keyword here: GOOD) children's story.

Now I know this quote is often used by manchildren to justify their obsession with MLP, but CS Lewis here is mainly talking about old-European folklore which absolutely is a treasure trove of quality storytelling as long as you read them in their non-modernized forms. But I think it still can apply to certain great works of media in the (semi) modern day, Future Boy Conan is one of my favorite anime ever created, I absolutely adore movies and shows like Ёжик в тумане, Alfred Joduscus Kwak, Тайна третьей планеты, and Prince Of Egypt. Sure they are not made for an adult audience but they're still charming, well animated and (most importantly) good works.

I think the more pressing issue is gooning to characters from childrens media, not the consumption of childrens media itself. It obviously also depends on the children's media in question, you probably have some kind of issue if you enjoy Steven Universe, Gravity Falls or Adventure Time as an adult man. To me, I think appreciating good media for a child audience is important as I personally would not show anything to my child which I would not also watch alongside them.

The birthrates in japan are comparable to that of most american and european whites once you take the immigrant births out. Also it's definitely not a good idea to go sins of the father on them as that is essentially the same argument libtards make to justify ruining white countries by overflowing them with browns.

I once spoke to an Iraqi who fled after 2003 to Amsterdam (his father was Republican Guard which was pretty interesting) he knew alot of white couples and we both agreed white birth rates where going down. The real question is why aren't any whites having children, it isn't a gordian knot type situation. Just have a child , tons of whites in the state I'm in have children until it's borderline welfare state material or just wigger shit (if you live in the deep south you 100% know who I'm referring too). Trust me it's easy to do
