People understate just how tangible the corruption caused by porn is completely destroying peoples lives and specifically children.

I can understand how the author isn't beheaded but how is this shit being defended still is beyond me.

Anime being "intrinsically pornographic" is a very pessimistic view of the medium and just because there's lolifags in there, it doesn't mean that every anime is inseparable from porn.

Agreed. Aria, Kino's Journeys, Natsume's Book of Friends, Dennou Coil, Haibane Renmei, all beautiful animation with no porn in sight.

Unfortunately I can attest to this based on what I've heard back in high school. Either the family doesn't want to deal with the drama so they don't talk about it, or they get called 'fast' and either shamed or praised for it. I think the worst story was when a female friend told me her uncle was a known pedophile in the family but they just tell the kids to stay away from him whenever he shows up to family meetings.
