Honestly, it doesn't seem like it. There are plenty of serious "religious" people who trooned out either because their "church" supports troons (basically half of all protestant denominations in the US) or got into weird schizo cope about how being a troon is "totally fine". Same with hobbies or being in a serious, healthy, long-term relationship, guys like Chris Tyson trooned out despite having both of them.
