Does anyone find it fascinating how much lolcow.farms and communities like it mirror their male counterparts so well? The girls geek out about fashion, accessories, makeup. They guys geek out about games, minatures, a such. They both have their husbando/waifu cliques, their women are whores/men are trash clique, and most are in agreement that the other side is icky and gross. Both sides have their groups that think the other is below them, when a lot of them are all average NEETs or in the lowest paying job.

But they just hate each other so much. It's just so bizzarely ridiculous its funny. Just why?

Took this screencap a while back, finally found somewhere relevant to post it! The whole thread was full of stories like this - lots of straight up stalkers, I remember one girl said she stalked her teacher who totally liked her too because she was so mature, but he had to be faithful to his bitch wife.

I go on lolcow periodically, and totally agree. I like having a place with mostly girls that's a total bitchfest and doesn't pretend otherwise - I've got no patience for the uwu~~women have to stick together~~bullshit. But unsurprisingly, the userbase is completely toxic.
The site has a serious problem with ana-chans/wannarexics, and I have no interest in nitpicking people's appearances and pretending that normal things (like mild acne) are so gross and disgusting.

Holy shit that just reminded me of that time in a confessions thread some girl said if she saw a hot guy spit on the ground. She would wait til he was gone and lick it off the ground. Like god, I don't even think the biggest incel I've heard of does things like that.
 
I spend a lot of time on lolcow and from what I can tell it's a group of below average looking women bitching about how ugly and fat above average women are. It's very confusing! I do enjoy reading through the useful information and drama but it's overwhelmed by the pointless appearance nitpicking. Some of the girls I see them tearing down is just bizarre.

True! Bunch of cunts indeed, although I do seem to find women particularly aggressive towards other women, obviously some sort of deep insecurity. I always try to stay away from gender stereotyping but fuck man women are so autistic about other women that they are jealous of.
They list all the reasons why they are not jealous, but lack the intelligence or understanding that there would be no other motive for that level of salt other than jealousy and envy.
Kiwifarms actually makes me laugh and stays on topic rather than going off on spergs and being needlessly viscous.

There's a certain type of woman (they are a minority, though an embarrassing one) whom jealousy of other women makes completely unhinged. They gravitate naturally to, and often create, celebrity gossip sites and sites like lolcow. Then they feed off each other. Hopefully these days they mostly stick to the internet, because being a woman on the receiving end of their real-life hate is... less than pleasant. It's bad enough on the internet. Female friends who'll stand up for you help, though. Male friends do very little good against hate campaigns started by women -- they usually can't even comprehend what's going on.

If you ever have kids don't send them to a gender segregated school. The girls at the Catholic schools make a MRA hate mob look like a bunch of 8 year old boys in a treehouse with a "no girls allowed" sign out the front.

Yes, I completely agree, some of the people I know have been subject to lolcow and although funny sometimes, it seems so unnecessarily cruel and almost psychotic. I have watched alot of it unfold and many of the girls I know try to get away from them, however they seem to be relentless.
I have come to the conclusion, some of these girls will never be left alone as one of them in particular is serving as a way for these girls to feel better about themselves through just sheer sadism.


Also completely agree about segregated schools, girls can be so cruel.
It's crazy how jealousy can fuel such resentment and bitterness.
 
I also find it interesting how it mirrors male-majority boards in some ways. Just like how you get those femanons on 4chan who have to point out they're female in every post they make, you get male anons on lolcow doing the same. It used to happen more, but it's since been made a bannable offence to imply in any way that you have a dick.

was never a fanatic for the layout of chan style boards to begin with. Their formatting is a nightmare.
