Not doubting you, but how do you know this? Are you old admin?
Just been a site user for years

I hope admin-sama either comes to terms with growing the site, or is able to find someone to take on the responsibility. I enjoy the speed at which things move there, and the user base, when not fighting with each other, has some truly remarkable autistic powers when it comes to tracking cows. Something may have to change in order to keep it going. It would be a shame to lose the users, their knowledge, and their skills; I hope it works out.

Lol there's been rumours of lolcow farm tracking IPs and cookie information for months. When the whole Kiki Kannibal thing happened this year, people were saying they managed to attribute all of Kiki's posts to her by doing some magical hacker bullshit with cookies and facebook? It sounded outlandish at the time but wow this is dumb. Way to make sure nobody paranoid ever goes back to your imageboard without a VPN and scriptblockers. People go on there to be ANON, making it obvious to the users they AREN'T anon will rub them the wrong way.

Lol, Regina is caught once again exchanging IP addresses with the CC admin
Oh she definitely obsessively checks user history to try and ID them. If you want to be a mod on the site, or verified in their discord, you must give up your IP so she can confirm you're a user.

From our conversations:

'false sympathy'
I will never understand why you're blindsided with contempt for me but at this point I don't care.
I don't think I've ever done anything to try and hurt you.

Opossum-Yesterday at 7:48 PM
You mean aside from still trying to usurp lolcow and posting your selfies and constantly telling people to discuss things on kwf instead of lolcow?
At least use a proxy ffs.

Hi, Regina here

I just popped in to apologize for the recent(ish) drama involving user ip. I only shared info with snail to stay aware of serial cowtippers and dramamongerers that were using both sites to stir up pointless hostility. As you all probably understand, strange types can be attracted to drama sites and it's difficult to admin blind. Looking back I do accept that I crossed some lines and took liberties I shouldn't have. Farmers are right to expect a greater measure of anonymity and I'm sorry for violating that.

That said, running the farm has slowly turned from an enjoyable hobby to an unpleasant chore for me, and the backlash I recieved over this was the final straw in the camel. I'm sure some of you know I've been trying to find a new admin for lolcow.farm, but it's been very difficult. People either don't have the technical or financial ability to take on the board, or they are complete strangers to me and I can't trust them to continue running the board in the manner you all expect.

In the end my choices came down to closing lolcow entirely, or making a deal that was less than perfect. I chose to sell lolcow farm to our new admin, aussiechan. He's a long-time fixture in our discord, and the only person I can trust with both the technical experience and financial interest in keeping the site afloat. I expect he will continue to run things the way you're all accustomed to and he has assured me he will take the security of your identifying data very seriously.

Thanks for all the good times, but I'm outta here!

Semper fi, girl. Thanks for all the work you did.

They do good work but a lot of the posters (the anons, not on KF) seem like catty nerd girls with sour grapes. Like geez we don't care that chad turned you down for a *vapid slut* because he didn't understand how not like the other girls you were, move on with your life and quit a-loggin'. idk why but i always read their posts in Teen Girl Squad voices.

women, am i right fellas ;) ;) ;)
