I've been disappointed in lolcow lately. Mostly because they're not showing me any new cows. I wish someone here would make a thread to catalog cows the site cares about and explain why they're cows.

Cows have been pretty stale and inactive.
Shayna’s boring, scorpioasshoe is being boring, all the camwhores are being boring, even Terry in /w/ is getting repetitive.

90% of the time now I go straight to /ot/ to hunt for the celeb gossip thread because that is a HELL of a gossip thread with blind items coming true and everything.

I think it was here but someone recommended making a Shayna thread and I agree. Why is she a cow? I have no idea why she is one. I'd appreciate some sort of OP explaining why she's cringe.

I have an autistic theory on that. It's not just with lolcow, but here too. I noticed most of the zoomer lolcows tend to be on tiktok and most of the gossipers go to reddit to talk about them. Both of the farms discourage tipping, but there seems to be a lot more zoomer weens, so they go on reddit instead of ebil far-right neo-nazi websites to talk about what they did to troll a cow and get upvotes. People like World of Shirts and Tophiachu have gotten pretty big on tiktok but have relatively small pages on here and the other farms. World of Shirt's thread is 56 pages long but it was in the prospering ground from 2021 until recently. I don't think the kinda people who use tiktok value things like anonymity cause that app, like most apps, is spyware. I also think that's why there are so many zoomers who try to come here and use the same username everywhere and ignore the warning and end up getting halaled.
 
It seems like every time I go on lolcow it just keeps getting worse. They just add more and more esoteric rules to posting just so their jannies have someone to give funny red text to. Literal hall monitor types that get off on telling people they're wrong for even the smallest infractions, no matter the context. They're just boiling their base down to one singular type of poster that can feel nothing but contempt because the jannies have to police everyone to act miserable in the same way that they are, while following some convoluted system of rules on what you can post where and how you do it, it all reeks of control freaks that probably would be reddit powermods in a different life. Shit is going to fall apart fast after a certain point if you just keep cultivating this insular misanthropic meangirl environment, they're going to turn inwards and eat each other alive eventually. Just go to a thread where someone mentions Fujoshit and watch how tenuously that site's community is being held together.

Also I'm a male that posts on lolcow and they literally cant stop me, they love to act like they're moid sniffing bloodhounds, but I' ve never even been accused of being a moid before. I would love to see the demographics to see how many men (or trannies) actually post there and go undetected.

Honestly makes sense. Thank you for summarizing this phenomenon with recent cows. If I had to guess the Joshua Block and Tophiachu enthusiasts prefer tiktok comment sections and reddit because all the info has been aggerated there. To be fair to them it's easier to join tiktok and clown on weirdos compared to joining KiwiFarms and doing that. I don't agree with that idea but I can see why someone wanting to comment while on anon would do that.

women talk a big game about behavioral differences making males easily clockable online through text alone but they really don't know/appreciate how much overlap our psychologies can actually have lol so this doesn't surprise me at all. I'm sure there are tons of male posters on there
