I hope Desmond Napoles isn't his real name - I don't care if adult morons get their google searches permanently ruined by having a thread on here, but he's only 11 and when he's 16 or so you can guarantee he'll look back and cringe.
The QKS interview, he said he was playing with Thomas Train toys when Drag Race was on in the background, and decided to "join in" - Drag Race is amusing and fairly harmless, but I'd never have it on in the background if I was responsible for a small child, what the fudge. But if a boy wants to try makeup on, yeah sure it's all a game, but there's no need to allow that outside the house, and certainly no need to put it on the internet.
ETA: As for dragging (no pun intended) him to Pride, I can see why a kid might enjoy it on a surface level - dressing up, lots of other people dressed in colorful outfits, lots of music and what some might see as a fun atmosphere. I'd reluctantly say I wouldn't care if a mom and dad took an 8 year old with them to support their gay teenage kid, as long as it was just an act of support for the teenager and as far as the small child was concerned, it was just a fun day out. But there's no need to cram their heads full of politics,and try to make them into an activist. Not only is it forcing views onto someone who can't yet fully form them for themselves, but there's a lot of pedos in that community, and I sincerly hope all of his social media is heavily monitored.

I can't help be wonder if some of the weird behavior is because of family rejection. Basically, if you've already had one family arbitrarily turn its back on you, you may end up being pushed into more extreme SJW virtue signaling and "wokeness" just to not end up completely alone.

I'd argue it's a bit of that mixed in with people online trying to find communities they can "fit in" at. They get desperate or their friends join some SJW related groups and it all goes downhill from there.

I didn't prepare myself for this when I woke up today. I read the father's interview today and I've been pretty speechless. If anyone's ever scared of having kids, because you might fuck them up... Well, this proves you'll be fine. This is next level.

I suspect that he'll drop off the face of the earth shortly after the media loses interest in him and and the public forgets about him. After some time has passed somebody, either a kiwi or another person interested in keeping track of proto-lolcows, will find he's been in the slammer for a bit after getting caught with a kid.

I'm pretty sure that "chosen family" thing started because of HIV positive gay men in the 80s having no one related to them willing to care for them while dying/bury the bodies. Lesbians did a lot of the end of life care and burial arrangements, and real family wouldn't. Lindsay applying that term to being too Queer for her accepting family is really fucking gross.

I think that's just a case of bad writing, and they meant "they don't take it well if you understate their importance", or something along those lines.

Gender reveal parties are fun. It's a great way to show support for your friends who are soon to be parents and hey, free food and booze.
And even if the kids turn out to be trans or whatever, the ideal is for them to figure this shit out by the time they're an adult way past the date of the party. Whenever the kid is trans from age 2, then it's clearly obvious that mommy and daddy want special attention and are willing to sterilize their kid for it.
