Little girls sort of get high on the institution of marriage, especially if it involves princesses. But of course, it is -- most of all in the case of Disney (that company is almost surrealistically prudish) -- basically "asexual romance", that is, romance with the sexual aspects blotted out.
Children do, in fact, have a kind of protosexuality which develops out of the basic human need for closeness and warmth. They may enjoy cuddling with each other or with a stuffed animal. This is quite far removed from what adults consider sex, but it is the psychological substrate out of which sexual desires develop during puberty.
Content which includes some allusions to sexuality are not necessarily damaging to children (just look at the original version of "Sailor Moon"); they usually just ignore or don't even notice the sexual content. <pl>Heck, I read "Brave New World" at the ripe old age of ten, it didn't permanently scar me.</pl>
That said, I cannot imagine any child would profit from or even enjoy a show about frikkin pronouns, LGBTQ activism, etc. Trying to pull children into their cause is the only thing which really annoys me about SJWs. The rest of their stuff is just silly and mildly amusing.
