My estimation of Courtney Love has just gone up significantly.

In all seriousness though, Sarsour is really no better than the tankies who jump to the defense of North Korea and the Soviet Union. In some respects, she's arguably even worse, because at least in the case of tankies they're defending a dead or dying ideology. Islamism meanwhile still holds a lot of political power in certain regions of the world, and she is in a privileged position as a woman who doesn't have to live with the consequences of it.

Also, as pointed out by Imam Shaikh M. Tawhidi, she doesn't even heed to the commandments of Sharia herself. If she actually did live in Saudi Arabia, she'd most likely end up either being imprisoned or stoned to death.

I didn't even know she had a daughter before reading this.

Now that's a poor unfortunate soul if I've ever seen one. God fucking damn, I feel so sorry for that kid.

If she was fat as a kid, that's more of a fault on Linda than her. Once you reach adult age, it's harder to break habits that you've been raised with, especially eating habits. It's still her responsibility as an adult though to take care of herself so idk.

Notice how the son also seems to only be wearing a t-shirt, a freedom that she clearly won't grant her daughters. When you point out to hijab worshippers that it's unfair that only women and girls are expected to cover up, one of the idiot arguments they like to resort to is "B-but there are rules for men too!". As if the pressure on them to follow the rules is on the same level. If I had a dollar for every time I saw a Muslim family where the male members were dressed in shorts and t-shirt while the female members were covered up in Islamic bed sheets even during steaming hot summer, I would be a rich woman.
 
I'm honestly surprised that she hasn't married her daughter off yet. Linda herself was a child bride and is still married to her arranged husband.

I doubt she would allow her child to marry off. It's kinda ironic that the muslim life she always defends is something she's against to. Ultra ironic considering that being a muslim is what gives her any relevance considering she always wanted to be politically involved, something her own religion forbids. (IICR; it was part of her marriage agreement that she would be allowed to study).
