Linda Sarsour supervised my sexual assault


I cannot stand by any longer and watch everyone praise a woman that claims to be for women’s rights and someone that fights for women when she herself allowed for abuse to occur to women.

The #METOO movement angered me because it gave me flashbacks to things that occurred while working for a non-profit in 2009.

In 2009, I was contracted under AmeriCorps to work for the nonprofit The Arab American Association of New York, in Brooklyn where Linda Sarsour was the acting director of the organization. The following occurred to me during that 12 month nightmare called a job.

I was stalked to and from work and inside the building. I complained to a supervisor that there was a strange man stalking me and was informed that he did not actually work there but lived upstairs above the office.

He would sneak up on me during times when no one was around and, depending on what floor I was on, you could hear me scream at the top of my lungs.

I would be thrown and pinned up against the wall by him.


He had a tendency of sneaking up behind me to touch me.


While this would go on, the acting director, Linda Sarsour, would tell me each time that I was over reacting, even threatened to fire me once when she heard me screaming from the second floor because this man came out of nowhere and touched me. According to Sarsour, something like that did not happen to someone that looked like “me” and no one would ever believe me if I ever told them what happened. How dare I interrupt her TV news interview in the other room with my lies.

I went to the president of the organization and was told my stalker was a God-fearing man who was always at the Mosque so he wouldn’t do something like that and that I wasn’t his type anyway, so I was just making things up because I wanted attention.

I was told this was a man that worked at the United Nations and it was made loud and clear that whatever I was saying to defame his name could be used against me when he wanted to sue me.

The stalking was worse. I was under an AmeriCorps contract and they had sent me a message asking how I liked my job and to rate how safe it was etc. I told them the truth. I told them I did not feel safe. I told them I did not want to be there anymore. I told them to find anywhere else to place me.

I received a call from the supervisor from Detroit where she asked me to tell her in detail what was happening and told me she’d take care of it.

I thought I was saved and everything would be OK until I received a call from her the next day calling me a liar, threatening to cancel my contract and write me up. At the same time, Linda Sarsour was informing me that she would make sure I would never work in New York City ever again for as long as she lived.

On top of that, later that afternoon I had a visit from a community liaison Detective from the NYPD. He came to my office locked the door and proceed to tell me he was there to arrest me for making a false statement regarding being stalked, sexually harassed and sexually assaulted.

I had to talk him out from arresting me that night and explain that I was the victim.

I didn’t know what to do.


I’ve had several jobs that I was let go of since then when she had discovered that I was working there.

I’ve had several people tell me that I was unemployable because of what I did at that job. All I wanted was to feel safe and not worry some stalker was going to pin himself up against me so I would be fully aware that he was erect.

I wanted to be able to go home without the worries of him waiting to grab me in front of my house to rape me.

I’ve had several political jobs where Sarsour told the candidates that if they wanted to win the Muslim vote, they had to fire me and hire her instead because I was the most hated person within the Muslim community in all of NYC.

I haven’t been able to obtain a steady job since 2009 because AmeriCorps decided I shouldn’t be able to stay within the program because of the horrible write up I had obtained from my supervisors.

This is not the only story pertaining to Sarsour about what she does to women. This is one of many. I cannot stand by and watch women put her on a pedestal and not know the truth. Here is the truth: If you were in front of Linda Sarsour being sexually harassed, she wouldn’t help you, she’d try to shut you up for complaining.

Not surprised. In fact, it's exactly one of the (many) things I figured she was guilty of.

I'm looking forward to her getting exposed as giving direct material support for an avowed terror group/terrorist next; because you're kidding yourself if you think she isn't guilty of that.

I'm so torn. On the one hand, this sounds exactly like something Linda Sarsour would do, because she's a terrible human being who apparently thinks abuse against women is perfectly okay as long as the abusers are pious Muslims. On the other hand, given the current cultural moment and the cache that comes with self-proclaimed victim status, coupled with the hard to believe accusations also made against Americorps and the local police (as if their first result is ever to arrest the accuser), this story is likely fabricated in large measure. Hell, Americorps contract or not, if you felt perpetually unsafe at work and were being sexually assaulted on a daily basis, would you continue going in, and just wait for Americorps to reach out before complaining?

Having said that, I do agree with a prior comment that Sarsour almost certainly has ties to terrorism. Probably not in a direct capacity (eg giving money to Hamas), but through a relationship with a terrorist front group that will eventually be indicted (eg Holy Land Foundation). It is par for the course with Islamic "civil rights leaders" and activists in the US. The connection between CAIR and terrorism, as an example, is well documented. But for the fact that the US undeservedly accords CAIR the same sort of status it does the NAACP, instead of appropriately recognizing it as a terrorist front group (founded by the Muslim Brotherhood no less), there'd already be a legal basis to indict this jihadi bitch on the basis of her financial relationship with those degenerates.

If I remember correctly, her brother or cousin was arrested by Israeli police because he (allegedly) had some connections to Hamas. So I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to think she has some connections.
 
Man, as complex as my feelings are about Courtney Love, I got no small amount of glee from seeing her drag this bitch on Twitter. Courtney's also half Jewish, so I'm sure Sarsour's antisemitism probably did her no favors.

But man. This lady. In a post 9/11 world, particularly in America, Muslims are protected by the left because we remember the horror stories of hate crimes against Muslims right after 9/11 (hell, Muslims weren't the only targets either; Sikh Indians were singled out because of their turbans and beards). That specter of the weeks shortly after 9/11 is probably one of the biggest motivating factors for why leftists have found themselves supporting people like Sarsour. The left has failed to acknowledge the equally bloody history Islam has to Christianity, hence their stubborn refusal to acknowledge the (ahem) privilege that Muslim men hold in majority Muslim countries. I have legit seen people get chided for their reactions to images of secular Iran in the 70's compared to modern Iran, because how dare they think the secular Iran was more progressive, can't those fools see they were being subjugated by imperialist Western standards?

The mind boggles. Those poor women in bell-bottoms attending university, their heads uncovered by hijabi. If only they knew the liberation that was to come.

It is frustrating, as a leftist, to see the trend of protecting everything from hijabi to burka as liberating. The main issue isn't the clothes themselves, it's the agency of the women wearing them. Does Linda Sarsour fight for the rights of Muslim women who don't want to wear hijabi? Well, she apparently doesn't give a shit about Muslim victims of sexual harassment, so I doubt it. Linda doesn't seem very interested in protecting the rights of people to criticize Islam as an institution, something that people can and rightfully should do of Christianity. Criticizing a religion does not mean you hate those who practice it... unless it's Islam, apparently.

There are Muslim men out there whose sense of entitlement far surpasses those of most basic white boys. I've known them. I've gone to school and worked with them. There is definitely a cultural element to this entitlement that is worth criticizing, but good luck trying to do so without being called an Islamaphobe. Oh, but don't criticize any strains of antisemitism among certain Muslims. They're justified. And women and the LGBT are apparently supposed to just accept this bad behavior without question, because people like Linda Sarsour say so.

I can only hope more leftists and feminists rightfully call this woman out for being more conservative than her loudest conservative critics because JESUS.

This is exactly it. The left thinks it needs to overcompensate in perpetuity for any group that they judge to be unfairly slighted. In their minds some negative attitudes about Islam are unjustified, therefore they all are.

It's why we have an islamophile thread. It's why Europe has a migration crisis. It's why a lot of current year is the way it is.
 
Reviving this thread some. She just got arrested along with some other Islamists from CAIR who were protesting outside Paul Ryan's office over DACA. DACA is apparently an issue for Muslims for some reason? Somehow? I mean this is like Planned Parenthood protesting drinking age or something.
