There will be no life after prison. Chris will continuously rack up charges on his record because he's an autistic manchild who can't handle being separated from his toys and the internet. You think any CO will just want to put aside their hangups when they see this guy? Fuck no.

If by the grace of God almighty, Chris manages to get out of prison in the distant future, there are programmes in place to help him maintain housing and employment but more than likely, he'll end up like one of the millions of mentally ill homeless people that clutter America's streets.

Either one of the few people willing to deal with chris, or some guy looking to get famous on the web will take chris in or he will be homeless. My bet is on the latter. Former would be funny to see who would be willing to take chris in for clout, and see how long it takes for them to mentally break after chris touches them or cries about legos

How many fucking threads are you gonna create? What next, "What is Chris gonna eat in Prison?"
Oh, the answer to that is simple: small meals of cafeteria food and (if he is able to get a job or have people put money in his commissary account) macs, spam, poptarts, and honey buns. I think that there is a good chance that Chris will lose weight in prison.

It's hard to guess what Chris will be like once he's out because there's two major possibilities:

He's substantially worse after having been raped/bullied/abused or put into solitary "protection" for a few years.
He's substantially better after having been structured and socialized to a degree unknown since high school for a few years.
This might be a little optimistic, but I think that the change in diet and a rigid schedule might do him some good.

He is probably gonna end up in a mental health institute not prison. How long they will keep him there, I can't say. Probably until they are sure his delusions about dimensional merges and shit are fixed or at least manageable.
If he gets put into a mental institution against his will I don't think it will be easy for him to get out, especially if it is the result of him committing a crime. I heard of this Hispanic guy who was declared not guilty by reason of insanity after murdering his father. Basically what happened is that he was a normal guy up until his late teens/early twenties when he had a schizophrenic episode. Now, the way schizophrenia works is that it often doesn't manifest until teens/early adulthood and many people are able to control it with medication. The guy (I forgot his name) was undiagnosed when he had killed his father and never had a serious episode before. Once the guy got institutionalized and medicated he was able to get back to a point where he was once again able to function in society. It turned out that he was one of those schizophrenics that can be normal people as long as they are medicated. This became apparent to everyone around him. I don't know how this story ends or if he got out, but eventually it got to a point where the professionals assigned to him thought he wasn't a threat anymore and his family had both forgiven him and wanted him out, but they couldn't realize him, because the state he was in didn't actually have any legal mechanisms for getting people out of these situations. I think that the laws in his jurisdiction were written under the assumption that once a mentally-ill criminal who was found guilty by reasons of insanity gets institutionalized they are a lost cause.

Of course, this might not apply to Chris, since he might not be found not guilty by reasons of insanity and the rules are probably different if he gets institutionalized after he has served his time.

Surely some eccentric rich kid will need a pet?

Chris will plea bargain down to a year or two in prison. When he gets out, he will be on the sex offender's list and may be prevented from using the internet. The parole agent will set him up with section 8 housing and food stamps. Chris will violate parole and go back to getting in trouble on the internet. Someone will screw him out of money again. He will end up on the street begging for money.

Well, Chris has proven that he can be inappropriate with all age groups. He hasn't touched a kid because he hasn't gotten the chance. He looks like a pedophile who pisses himself, so I doubt people will leave their kids alone with auntie Christine.
Although wasn’t he put into charge of several children during him supervising Pokémon tournaments or some shit like that? This was waaaay before the troonsanity saga, admittedly, so he looked way less deranged.

Remember though. Parents got angry because he was a 20 something year old, dressed like a 5 year old, arguing with kids about the game. He's always looked pretty retarded, the Tomgirl phase just added raw sexuality to the mix.

I don't see Chris being institutionalised. I can see him winding up in prison for a good few years, though, if the charges stick - let's say a decade. That may not sound so vast a length of time in itself , but it means that, if it happens, a 40-year-old man - arguably still 'young' - is released back into the World as an arguably 'old' man of 50. Barb will almost certainly be dead by then, so, even if it weren't the case that he'd be kept away from her anyway, he's not going to have her around. The rest of his family, as we know, didn't want anything to do with him beforehand and, bar a miracle, I don't see any of them helping him now. Also, the pets (hopefully after living with genuinely caring owners) will, in all likelihood, also all be dead.

Chris comes out of stir to this. Let's assume that he has some help from some philanthropic representative of the state or similar to set him up with a small one-bed apartment and keep him there. Fine. He has a roof over his head, which is the first concern. Let's also assume that he's able (with help) to get the tugboat up and running again. Fine as well. Now he can keep the lights on and not starve.

But what else will be any good for him? A decade, like I said, is a long time, but not so long that people forget. I don't see pitchfork-waving angry mobs running him out of town, but I do see a lot of anonymous hate mail, possibly even death threats. At the very least, he'll be completely shunned. People will warn their children away from him and his place. He'll be completely persona non grata - barely tolerated, and that's it.

He therefore either wanders around town looking tragically lost and confused, wondering why his life has gone so horribly wrong, with probably no real friends at all, or he becomes even more of an internet-dwelling shut-in. He may well still have his hopes for the Dimensional Merge, but as more and more years go by and pastel ponies aren't trotting around town and bidding him good morning even those will slip away.

TL, DR - Chris winds up as Howard Hughes, but without the money. His hygiene likely becomes truly appalling, his already inadequate social skills atrophy even more. If he's very lucky, he may have a pet cat or dog again, but that's going to be the only real companionship that he has. He'll end up a geriatric internet shut-in.

Either way he's fucked.

1. The rigid structure and lifestyle of prison makes him regain some of his sanity. He's still completely incompetent and unfit for any occupation, and has completely burned everybody who would give him aid. He's destined to spend the rest of his days in homelessness.

2. The rough structure and lifestyle of prison breaks what's left of his sanity. He completely recedes into his delusions, and is either transferred to a looney bin or he becomes yet another crazy homeless person dotting the streets of America.

3. The pressure makes him realize how utterly bleak his life has become and he decides to finally "head to the other dimension".

4. He gets shanked by a nigger.
>regain his sanity
Honestly, I hope for this. I hope he can wake up and look back on what he's done, and repent from that. I don't think people will approach him in prison or try to make friends with him, partly because the recent offenders might actually know him cause of his "famous" online persona.
Let's be real. He'll become more insane if his autism persists, or more sane if he doesn't get any Internet access or any crayons to draw with.

Can’t we just go back to talking about Punished Old Man Chris being released from prison already?

I quite frankly don’t care which backwater state has the highest rate of cousin-kissing.

Bear in mind too that if Chris ends up on the RSO list (which he almost certainly will), his place of residence will end up being publicly-searchable for the remainder of his life. Assuming that he doesn't break conditions of his sex offender status and get sent back to jail for leaving town without notifying the PD, moving without filing a change of address, being within howevermany feet of a place where minors congregate, etc., he's going to be w33ned for as long as he can breathe.

Not that I have any sympathy for his predicament: I don't. But it does mean that wherever he ends up will be as notable as 14BC, and probably a lot less private for him.

I seriously doubt he’d be able to keep these restrictions in mind and would end up strolling too close to a school or something. Plus, he’s got a history of ignoring these things (being banned from the Gameplace and showing up anyway etc).

One can only hope they release him into some care home/facility where his mobility is monitored/restricted for his own sake.

Yes, I can see Chris ending up with something like a permanent ankle-tag or similar.

Something else which occurred after I made my earlier post today: on top of everything else, he's also going to be blacklisted by just about every convention going, isn't he? Certainly IRL ones, and I suspect even any future remote ones aren't going to take kindly to him registering. In other words, his potential social contact gets that bit smaller still. He really is going to end up as a lonely recluse, isn't he? Ah well, at least he won't die a virgin.

Good luck finding po’ folk, section 8, ex-con housing that doesn’t have 20 mongrel kids running around at all times.

Haha Jesus, Chris should just stay in prison. He won’t even have the goddamn van to move into on the outside. He won’t even have a ride to the halfway house.

Funny you should mention that.

It's doubtful that he'll end up in a place like that. Where he is likely to end up is what's basically an RSO colony. It could be in an apartment building, it could be in a trailer park, or it could be a shared house in the middle of nowhere. Either way, expect that a large (if not majority) percentage of the residents are other RSOs.

We have two apartment complexes locally where about 40% of the residents are RSOs, and (by design) neither one is near the actual Section 8 housing we also have. Delivery drivers know to just drop the food, knock, and GTFO when delivering there; no tip is worth sticking around for in a place like that.

Something-something furries something-something pedos from RSO on conventions. I am more surprised he was allowed to Everfree at all, since his previous appearance at a convention ended with him lying on the floor after security tried to take him out for groping people without their consent.

Now THERES your next hit reality show. “Big Brother: Chomo house”. There’s only one tv with Disney channel and food is pushed through a hole in the door.

I also can’t help but feel for the other %60 of the people that accidentally moved into “Short Eyes trailer park” because it was the cheapest option. Bet those fellas go all out for Halloween though.
