So how much money do you think he'll have upon release? Virginia sets aside 10% of all donations he recieves in state prison up to $1,000 that will be handed to him upon release.

He's not in prison, and he quite possibly will not go to prison at all if whatever plea deal he agrees to results in less than a year incarceration remaining after time served is credited. He could get a misdemanor with it all covered time served, or a year with a few months left to serve after time served, or even a year and a half on a felony served in jail since he'll have less than a year left after 6+ months time served credit.

Generally you're only sent to prison if you've got over a year's stay expected.

So what exactly happens if say, for whatever reason, at the February hearing Chris gets time served, then released. Is released at the court house? Or do they take him back to jail to get his stuff then what? Just open a big gate and let him out? Give him bus fare somewhere?

If the psych eval determined him to be mentally ill, they can't just kick him out onto the street. They have to connect him with services and have a plan to make sure he's okay and doesn't just die in a ditch. It doesn't have to be a lifetime plan, but they need to make sure he's set up for a month with social services in a way that they can arrange for future care. This requirement is fairly recent and it's the first time Chris has been in jail since the law has been in place.

Any plea deal will probably include some requirements for Chris to actively engage with some form of treatment, though Chris is still free to fuck it up. One possibility is they give him a sentence of one year in jail, with part of it time-served, and the rest suspended as long as he follows his release conditions, thus giving him incentive to not fuck it up. (This is essentially what they did with the Gamestop incident, 6 month sentence, 3 days time served, rest suspended). They also did this with the mall trespass, only in that case there was no conviction, just the therapeutic docket which would result in him going back to criminal court if he failed it.

I don't feel like I have anything interesting to add but wanted to say I'm looking forward to the slight shock Chris might experience when he's out and has to try to catch up with a bunch of shit he was following before the arrest. None of his letters that I recall touch on the new MLP he was rabidly hating and involving in his make-believe religion, but it's obviously around and some of his favourite content creators have likely touched on it. There's also things like missing out on the sonic Lego release, his banning from conventions, so on.
Will he get out a camera and blow up over people liking it? Or is he really just gone and gonna try to cope it out of existence like he apparently tried to with MLP merch he hated, ignoring it after initially acknowledging it?

I feel like it's nearly impossible for "catching up" to not be at the top of his priorities upon release. Regaining his toys and trespassing on 14BC being number one, of course

Dang. I wanted to look up regulations around group homes in Virginia and stumbled on a bunch of videos marketing the starting of a group home as a business opportunity to nurses and behavioral health workers. It looks like so long as you have 8 or less individuals with intellectual disabilities with one or more staff persons and file the paperwork properly, you can start a group home. It would be considered a "residential occupancy by a single family." There seem to be a lot more regulations if the group home is for children under the age of 18.
(No, I don't want to start a group home or take care of Chris Chan.)
Hol’up.

You’re telling me that the state of Virginia will not only let me have my own personal petting zoo of up to 8 lolcows, but the state will also pay me for it?
By any chance did you see how strict they are on care? Would it be acceptable if all I provided was utilities, fiber optic Internet, web cameras around the whole house and a weekly Amazon shipment of cabbage?

Gentlemen, I see a real business opportunity here…

There is some justice in knowing six plus months of tugboat residuals are going right to replacing all the shit someone tossed while he was in jail, and that it wont be enough for him. I dont even think he'll buy a car. The Legos must come first.

He would have resorted to begging no matter what, but its always fun watching a cow burn their last ticket out hell.

Theoretically, yes. If you promoted it like it was tard Big Brother though, you might get some backlash and not be approved. You'd have to spin it very carefully like how you were empowering people facing unique challenges to express themselves thanks to the transformative power of the internet.

Generally though it's considered unwise for inexperienced people to attempt to keep exotic pets. You might have a blood feud with another tard farm owner who will accuse you of feeding family members to Chris.

I'd reccomend he just join a fucking monastery of some sort, if that's even possible near him.
Maybe he moves out to Indiana or Pennsylvania and joins the Amish as a farmhand. Spends the rest of his life tending to horses, working with leather, reading the Bible, baking pies, and, knowing Chris, quilting.

If Chris still thinks he's a transwoman, the Amish'll straighten him right out.

Finally, it'll fix him because, besides his Autism, one of Chris' biggest problems is access to the internet. Giving him a one-way ticket to Amish Country, where WiFi is totally out of the question, is just what the doctor ordered.

I thought the tugboat was on hold while he's in jail, so there are no residuals. He'll get his tugboat after leaving jail, but there is not going to be a pent-up sum of money ready to be invested in Lego and other crap.

Chris trying to sponge off of people's goodwill won't be much of a success I'd wager. Chris fucked up in a big way when he raped his geriatric mom and admitted to jerking off on her breakfast. I doubt anyone will feel inclined to give this sad sack of shit even just a damn quarter once he's back from jail. So it'll be hilarious.

I also kinda wonder if trolling Chris will become more nasty, cause a lot of people will consider kicking the autist justified given how disgusting of a person they find him.

Lmao quilting my ass, Chris would never have the energy to do that shit. Can you imagine that lazy faggot even attempting a cathedral window quilt?

Also on the general quilt tangent why is it that all the smartest, as in genius level IQ chicks I ever knew, they were all into quilting?

I dunno, I think as soon as he’s back online the weens will be right back to giving Chris money so he pays attention to them.

Big expenses like having to keep his junk in a storage unit might screw him over or continually spending his rent money for his section 8 apartment on toys and video games.

Chris is entitled to his tugboat until he is convicted and spends 30 days incarcerated POST-CONVICTION. Theoretically he should still be receiving his tugboat even now.

@A-№1 has pointed out that in his experience, inmates frequently have their tugboat shut off regardless, because the jail fails to differentiate between inmates post-conviction and inmates pre-conviction when reporting to the SSA. This is because *most* people bail out pre-conviction.

However Chris is still entitled to that money, so even if his tugboat was mistakenly suspended, he can file with the SSA to receive the back pay for the months he was incarcerated pre-conviction.

If CVRJ did not fuck up on its reporting, Chris' bank account should be still receiving his tugboat every month, up until now.
