I grew up in a Firstborn Laestadian community (Nordic religious sect often compared to the Amish). Tech including the Internet is allowed for work and education, but forbidden for entertainment or pleasure. TVs and radios were a fuck no. Sucked ass.

Did cute teenage girls feed you their pubes like in Midsommar?

Midsummer meal was a community thing (recognizing it varies between sects) but our village was mostly related, so while that might be Chris Chan's dream, I did not want cousin pubes in my karjalanpiirakka.

Eh genetically-speaking, second-cousin or further you're fine, which is why it's legal everywhere. (First cousins are a different matter. It's usually harmless if it's only one generation, but repeated cousin-breeding across the generations causes problems).

Humanity evolved living in smallish tribes so just about everyone who banged had a traceable familial relationship.

Which makes me wonder, would it have been better or worse if Chris had banged his half-niece?

Almost 30 years ago, I had a job interview for one of these group homes. It was for an awake overnight clerk. I was told I'd just make sure they stay in their rooms, ect.

I was also told that if I took the job, I'd get 5 weeks paid vacation right off. Not after 90 days or anything, but right away. They also said that I'd have to sign a contract saying I'd stay employed by then for a full year from my hire date or they could take legal action against Me.

So I respectfully declined the job offer. If they had to give 5 weeks paid vacation off the bat, and make you sign a contract saying you'd stay for a year, I figured it was pretty stressful.

I'd say you got better then alot of the fly by night group homes offer.

One I almost took a job at, the owner took a shipment of opiods, and the yearly client money up front, and then ghosted out of state. I'm sure they made a small fucking fortune on the opiods though. This was pre major restrictions to them, where you could get months of the shit up front.

Sorry for derailing thread. I'll go back to my corner.

Dang. I wanted to look up regulations around group homes in Virginia and stumbled on a bunch of videos marketing the starting of a group home as a business opportunity to nurses and behavioral health workers. It looks like so long as you have 8 or less individuals with intellectual disabilities with one or more staff persons and file the paperwork properly, you can start a group home. It would be considered a "residential occupancy by a single family." There seem to be a lot more regulations if the group home is for children under the age of 18.
(No, I don't want to start a group home or take care of Chris Chan.)

I feel like the judge and jury will be absolutely disgusted with Chris´s actions and will give him the max sentence if, of course, this case actually ends up going to court. I am pretty sure that the DA is trying desperately to make a plea deal for him as of now so I kind of doubt that this will go to trial. However, if he does end up going to prison, they will chew him up and spit him out. The other people in the prison might even try to beat him up because of his crimes.

Isn't that the one with the two branches that say the other is going to hell despite having like...no doctrinal differences at all?

Logically they both are going to hel.

Odin rejecting Christians.

So who wants to start a literal lolcow farm here?
That would be a combination of terrible, inhuman, but hilarious and quietly praised by exhausted parents, relatives, social workers and conventional care providers.

One would need a very secure local intranet to secure the inmat…..residents in the Echo Chamber to end all self justified circle jerks.

What do you think will be the first tweet from Chris after the end of his jail time?
Either a new delusional announcment or something against my little pony g5 for me

He is going to thank all the weens that gave him money then accidentally reveal his new autistic plan to break the law

Yeah there are all kinds of Amish around me. I see them almost every day driving down the road in their big F350 dually pickups while they yak on their cell phone. Then the next day I will see the same dude going clop clop clop in their horse drawn carriage on the way to church. People who don't live around the Amish have some pretty wrong ideas about them.

I remember when my father had a bunch of Amish on his property building a barn. Were they using old 1800's hand tools? Fuck no, it was all Makita, DeWalt and Milwaukee Sawzall's and shit. They were actually excellent craftsman and did a really good job for a fair price but they were using all modern gas and electric powered tools. And they all arrived on the job site every day in their ubiquitous Ford pickups.
They're also allowed to use smartphones for business in my experience
