Because he's disabled and it'll probably be several years he'll most likely get himself placed into an assisted living facility because there's no way this man can take care of himself.

I just wonder if Chris will be a social pariah after this, or if it will be business as usual. I can't imagine cons or wherever Chris frequents wanting anyone around who even entertains the idea of banging their moms.

Chris returning to society after a long stretch is going to be rather sad, to be honest.

Barb would most likely be dead before 10 years is up. The house and all of his belongings would be long gone to pay off his debts.
Barring some small miracle, Chris would have no income whatsoever. He fucked over all of his avenues for revenue, including his tugboat.
If he got jailed for longer than 12 months, the tugboat would be terminated and he would have to re-apply for it.

The thing is, he got help to get government assistance in the first place.
Now, he has nobody. His surviving family have disavowed him, Bob is gone, and Barb, if she's even alive at all, is probably reduced to saying "Cookie?" at inappropriate times.
Whatever friends and enablers he had have jumped ship. 10 years from now, who is really going to care about Chris? That's actually a serious question, not some flippant statement, by the way.

Chris would most likely wind up in State care for the rest of his life. His mental problems mean he can't re-integrate into society properly.
His financial situation (which now includes potential homelessness) mean he's utterly fucked if thrown out there into the wild.
And personally, I don't like the thought of seeing Chris on the streets begging. That's just a heartbreaking thing to see anyone fall to, karma or not.

Was wondering if anyone knows what will happen to the tugboat? Will he lose it ? My bet says no way. If he does though he is completely screwed.

I'm fairly certain that most people who entertained the idea of banging their own mothers didn't wait until they were geriatric mothers to start getting a boner at the thought of going home.

He'll get SSI after he gets out, once you've qualified its easy to get back on; however, he may be ineligible for other types of public assistance if he is a convicted felon, it depends on the charges, conviction and his state of residence. The real issue is where will he live? Convicted sex offenders can be denied certain locations in housing. He will also be likely be released on parole into a halfway house where he'll be made to reapply for SSI and they'll try to find him a place to live. He's not a boned as you seem to think.

His situation is repairable for sure, however depending on how the course of his punishment goes, his life could either start completely faltering in the wrong direction it should be going in, or he may be able to get into contact with the right people once he's released and find appropriate housing, but again that depends on the terms of his punishment.

True but I am almost 100% certain they will medicate his ass to hell and back so he'll obey his minders. Then again what he did was so horrible and loathsome, combined with his personality maybe no one will give a shit and just hand him some carfare and say don't let the door hit you on the way out; by the way if you do't comply with your release conditions and have a home/job/medicate within the week you're violated and back to lock up you go.

Chris's lawyer is going to get so tired of listening to autism that he'll strike any deal with the prosecution to plead down to whatever they're willing to accept. Most of Chris's crimes carry a 1 year sentence in Virginia unless there's evidence of rape, but since Chris has only been charged with incest, based on no particular experience because I'm not revealing power level, charges run in descending order from most to least serious. I'm assuming the rape kit they did on Barb came back inconclusive, and since Chris always wore a condom, there'd be nothing in there anyway.

I think Chris is either going to get 6-12 months (for the violation of the protection order) and all the charges are going to run concurrent. Incest/violation of protection order/stealing/elder abuse, etc. If he sees a day of punishment for it, it'll be fairly minor, my only reason for thinking he'll probably get 12 months in county jail is because he has priors for low order mischief tier shit and the vehicular assault.
And he's probably going to be put into adseg immediately because the jail isn't going to risk a lawsuit over him being raped/murdered in county jail while serving 1 year, his sentence may even be suspended, and he might be put into a group home with a life-time no contact order with Barb (which he'll violate and be remanded for the remainder of his sentence)

He's going to come out weird, no matter what happens, he's going to be more insane due to the segregation, and he's probably going to kill himself either in jail, or outside of jail.

He'd probably try to go back to prison again since he may not have the funds to ever having a Real Estate ever again, something Prison does offer to him is shelter.

Furries allow pedos from SO list on their conventions, I guess, Chris will just have to make a Sonichu fursuit.

I would say he's looking at less than 5 years. It's a major sex crime but given he has a mental age around 8 and his priors were a result of sheer stupidity the court will likely be more merciful. You know sometimes the court will have the victims of your prior crimes come and testify before sentencing so this could end up looking like the finale of Seinfeld. On top of that a court order to never again contact the victim is pretty standard so he might not see barb again until her funeral.

Knowing his luck (yes, yes, I'm aware this is a rape case, only incest at the moment) he would get 1 year or, at most, 2. Justice always sees him as a kid in an adult's body and an autistic one at that, therefore, highly reducing his consequences.

Considering it's highly unlikely he'll get 10 years as you say, he will be out sooner than expected and I have a feeling Null didn't 100% give up on him yet. There's still a chance he will guide Chris and get him back into the "draw for income and you keep the house" plan.

I don’t care if people have said this elsewhere but seriously there’s a fucking reason that there’s a thread called “Random Thoughts and Questions”. Normally I’m actually really nice and welcoming to newfags (which is rare for an oldfag like me) but this is getting out of hand.
