I've already said that - charging her is not a problem, unlike putting her in prison. They just probably have nothing beyond Chris saying she wanted it i.e. thing that 100% of rapists say. Otherwise, it would be a big mistake, since they will have a trial where everything points out to them both being guilty and "some fat tard" being wrongfully accused of rape. Also, that would be really beneficial for defense, since proving that Barb was a willing participant = lowering charges to "just" incest while multiple counts of elderly rape can put Chris behind bars for the rest of his sorry life.

Chris managed to fool Null with that "girlfriend in her 50s" bullshit, that he barely questioned and used to deflect incest tape. I think, that kinda hints how well he knew him and his relationship with Barb.

Good luck with that line of thinking. No one would waste their time on something so small, yet we have two continuances already, meaning that defense has to put effort to win this one. If prosecution had fuck all, they would have a plea deal months ago.
 
Assuming he gets prison (unlikely) and survives prison (unlikely), what are his options? He can't live in the Chandler house. He doesn't have any friends to stay with. I doubt his brother lets him live with him. He either finds himself on the street, or takes up a housing offer from a troll.

he will probably loiter in a nearby mall or library until he gets banned and then get arrested again after he trespasses back in.

he may also try to see if a church will take him and im sure any church would be willing to take in their founder with open arms after chris explains that he is Jesus Christian Weston Chandler Sonichu Goddess Blue Heart

...or end up back in jail for his lack of observing the restrictions that will be placed on Chris as he is probably going to have to register as a sex offender even if he gets a short sentence.

Can somebody to be bumped up to a higher tier on Virginia's sex offender registry for violating distance and housing restrictions and not keeping appointments with probation officials?

For some reason I am imagining the movie, The Woodsman where the main character is played by Chris as himself instead of Kevin Bacon.
 
I had a roommate once who worked in a group home for developmentally disabled sex offenders and I would make big wagers on that being the rest of his life after release.

The courts won't release Chris onto the streets to fend for himself. He isn't capable of rehabilitation and it's in the interest of the public to put Chris under 24/7 supervision from now on. The people in my roommate's group home were mandated to be there - leaving wasn't an option and the rules were not negotiable. In that sense, it's kind of like a prison within the community albeit a quite nice one. It's like any other house in the neighborhood.

Chris will probably be pretty happy there - if he can get over being around people like him. It's a structured environment, but he will be free to do more or less whatever he likes. The rules of the sex offender registry don't necessarily apply when someone has a dedicated worker with them wherever they go. They can go more or less wherever they want as long as they're escorted at all times. And they do have to be escorted at all times. No one gets to go anywhere alone so everything has to be planned, which might make Chris rage from time to time. He'll be able to establish a new hoard and won't have to clean anything up if he doesn't want to. My roommate had one client they had to remove from the house just to get the rotting leftovers out of his toy pit without an incident, which might as well be prophetic of Chris's future. He won't have the same paycheck he used to - the government will take most of it to cover his care in the home. But plastic will find a way.

I think it's pretty likely he'll see himself arrested again because fights are common in a home like that. But they're so common he'll only see that if he does some serious damage to another resident. A certain amount of slapping around is just a day to day kind of thing.

Tdlr: Chris will be irritated but fine.

What state was that, if you don't mind me asking? I'd be surprised if a state like VA had something like that.
 
Edit: I was wrong and LATE about much of this post, but I figured since a lot of people responded to it, I'd leave it up but make it known that I'd been corrected on almost all of this.

Honestly, I think that a lot of people are still acting as if this is going to be a huge prison arc (or lockup arc), but we have several reasons to believe that will not be the case. Let's go through some of the reasons this case will probably end with another slap on the wrist.

1. Barb was probably not considered a victim due to mental status. If Barb was declared mentally unsound she would not have been released home into her own care. Therefore we can infer that Barb was declared sound enough to consent, or not consent on her own.
2. Because barb was allowed to go home, it's unlikely she was charged with incest herself. She was not given a public court date, or anything of that manner. This means that the charge presented in court will likely not be incest. It's sort of "obvious if you think about it" but incest requires two people, and two people means two charges, and two court dates.
3. In the unlikely event that the prosecution is trying to present this as a rape charge, unless barb herself is going to get on the stand and say it's rape, there's practically no way it'll ever end in conviction. Just imagine the prosecution going on stand and saying "ah yes so, the supposed victim says she wasn't raped, and we can't prove sex happend, but this fat troon told us he doneit." Can you imagine how easy a defense could come out and just say "yeah so the police intimidated a retard into saying stuff, theres zero evidence and also the victim says it didnt happen"
4. In VA, chris is a woman in the eyes of the court as long as he says he is. You can scream and twaddle and kick your feet, but that's the law in VA. He is a woman as long as he says he is. Ok so... Mother daughter incest isn't actually illegal in VA?? So?
5. People are pretending that this will go to supreme court because of point 4, it won't. The appeal's court's job is to decide if the court before it followed the law to it's logical letter and spirit. The law says chris is a girl if he says so, so the court did if they treat him as a girl.

So... What are the paths for Chris to actually go to jail?
IF barb says he raped her on stand.
IF the court decides to treat him as a man instead of a woman, and it goes all the way to the supreme court, and the supreme court rules that a court doesn't have to respect trans people.

Points 4 and 5 were abandoned when it was realised the language was updated to be gender neutral and Chris is only a woman for pronouns. You need bottom surgery to go to a womans prison in Va and even if barb consented they can refuse to charge her. Lurk more before you post.

I don't how far away such a system is for him, but it would be so exceptional if Chris got out of this without legally mandated changes to his personal freedom level. It's pretty evident that releasing him without a plan for the future would end in another disaster and should be avoided, especially if his defense pleas for leniency due to developmental delay. Chris needs supervision and if he can accept that he might not catch rape charges.

Even if that's true, if it's incest they'd have to charge barb with it as well. It takes two to incest?
