I am surprised the kink thread creator would have this perspective- there are so many more options beyond anal sex and foot jobs. Even outside of increasingly bizarre and insular ways to have sex, it can also just be nice to lie down with someone else and touch each other with your hands, you dont *need* to do butt things

Yea but for most people they're not going to be satisfied with other options. Go on grindr and say you don't want to do anal sex in any form and watch the 0 matches you get other than people just asking wtf. I wouldn't consider fetish stuff or handjobs to be sex anyway. I mean, I guess if sex is your primary goal, then yeah, infrequent anal would a deal breaker for most matches. For me though, my main reason for embarking on my Love Quest is to find someone I can be myself around and have companionship with- sex is very low on the list of priorities, so I imagine most of the grindr crowd (or anyone who would be entirely put off by not having a lot of butt sex) would already not be the kind of sweetheart id be looking for anyway

I think the "porn aversion" fad i see on the internet in the last few years is really cringe to be honest. I attribute it to false moralism, but as with everything, the problem is in the excess.
