But, if we only account for the evolutionary perspective of sexual orientation (everything is determined by the biological need to pass on genes), then it doesn't account or explain homosexuality, gays and lesbians breed at probably the same rate of asexual people.

I've hypothesized that from an evolutionary perspective, then asexuality could occur when there's overpopulation in order to keep the species from breeding too rapidly, but that theory doesn't explain why there had been evidence of asexual behavior in humans and society (monks and priests taking vows of chastity), going back for thousands of years.
It is thought that the lesbian gene is inherited from fathers and the gay gene is inherited from mothers so that defeats your point

Anyone that describes themself as asexual is doing it purely for attention

Notice how they all say something like 'im asexual but I.....'

And as to the concept of Asexuality being disproved, I think the survival of our species is proof enough. We've been around for 65-ish million years, all because of nookie.
That's the same logic that homophobic people use, though. "If this was a natural and acceptable lifestyle, we'd be dead because we'd ALL be that way!" Only a small portion of the population is asexual and some asexual people have had families anyway. There are sex repulsed asexuals but I've seen a lot of people who also just don't care at all. Ever. And they're a small portion of the population, so humanity is safe.

Some people get sick when they smell seafood, some people just don't get why their friends like sushi so much. Doesn't mean that fish will soon walk on land and enslave us all.

I'm certain asexuality isn't a real sexuality. It's likely just a mental or medical issue, but no one bothers to treat it because sex drives do nothing but cause problems for those who have them.

Those who feel it just don't want to shut them off because satisfying your sex drive and having orgasms feels really, really, really good.

it is a mental issue, but none of the people in this thread that have said that they are asexual really are

I think I'm biromantic asexual, but not really sure about the asexual part yet
Asexual with rare exceptions

purely attention seeking

No idea, I just find it kind of gross
thats not being asexual

I think probably 90% of people who claim to be asexual just can't get laid and instead of going loveshy, they decide those grapes are sour anyway.

Something I overhear frequently is people claiming to be "sapiosexual". If there were true sapiosexuals, then academic conferences would have "research rats" hanging outside the doors.

SJWs stopped using that because they say it's offensive to speds, apparently.

Retards aren't on the Internet anyway.
You're here.
