The only time I have not done this is when the person is being an utter cunt. I'll give an example. I've done a lot of writing projects with someone who is trans. They're a good writer and that's all I care about. They only mentioned being trans to me one time and it never gets brought up. The only things we talk about are our characters and chapter plans.I take the approach that if the person concerned has made a serious effort at passing and has had the op or is in the process of doing so, then I will respect that effort and commitment by using their preferred pronouns, name etc.
I agree; I would respect a MTF trans person's pronouns because I don't want to get manhandled. This person has been a very loyal friend to me and has never disrespected me. So because they've treated me well, I respect their pronouns. I'd feel like a jerk if I did. Because they've been nothing but kind to me.
It's a shame that currently everything is pushed to be politicized. Just take a look at the current nerd hobbies.any politics and it goes to shit completely
the only ones i hate are the ones that make it there whole life and inject it into everything about themselvesThe only time I have not done this is when the person is being an utter cunt. So....if they treat me well, I respect their wishes. It depends on the person.
In my personal and wanted opinion that everyone wants to hear, I think that the tranny appreciate thread was a wholesome gem or something. You made a tranny appreciation thread last month.
Yeah, they don't. Maybe it's because they're also religious, they don't act like a freak to me. All I care about when it comes to them is if they treat me well and kindly, and they have, and if they're a good writer, which they are.the only ones i hate are the ones that make it there whole life and inject it into everything about themselves
the rest i find gross but it's a free country i dont care what adults do to themselves
those ones dont really bother meYeah, they don't. Maybe it's because they're also religious, they don't act like a freak to me. All I care about when it comes to them is if they treat me well and kindly, and they have, and if they're a good writer, which they are.
It never comes up.
I just want to read about Henry VIII's marriage drama.Just take a look at the current nerd hobbies.

Yeah, I get these stances. I guess I'm just a hardliner on that matter. My main gripe is still that, because of these gender antics, there now exists a law with the aim of compelled speech.I take the approach that if the person concerned has made a serious effort at passing and has had the op or is in the process of doing so, then I will respect that effort and commitment by using their preferred pronouns, name etc. But if a man is claiming to be a woman and has made no real effort to look or behave like one whatsoever then no
