Mini-Episode 33-2 : Gatcha Hell.
Time to show off why I picked up the evo'ed form of smolball when we have the shiny pre evo.
By using a dusk stone. We got from the shadow cavern
That's right I named him after the horror movie.
Did you know they made a sequel movie. What I remember it was lower budget. Sadly Never made a third movie.
Hot Damn look at this poster. A eye catching miss mass, and I love it. The snow on the top of the head looks out of place, and those eyes are just. Mmmm Perfect. My Guess is that it's a skull they dressed up, and then composted onto a picture someone drew of a snowy forest.
Not as good as the first. Lot more photoshop used here. It downgraded from a cool movie poster to bootleg goosebumps cover.
Funny enough Amazon website has two more covers.
The German cover which looks better, but still has the charm of a goosebumps cover.
This is what the cover for this movie on amazon looks like. A mix of the posters for both movies, and I think looks the best. Takes what works with the original, blows up the critter like mini jack. Over all very solid.
Anyway I this mini is just me doing grinding out levels and money by doing the fatemon battles over and over.
So if you Give no shits about fatemon you can easily skip this.
Some of the trainers you can fight are not Psychic Trainers.
He also has this other move that looks very german and gives him a ton of buffs. Forgot to screen cap it.
I am also leveling up Karma, because I feel like if luck is giving me lemons I might as well make lemonaid traps out of it.
Boy Howdy doesn't this date when this mon was added. I might as well mention this now. Not all of the Fate-mons was added at the same time. Same goes for the touhou-mons. It makes it a real hassle to find the pokedex entries for them.
Funny enough this isn't a signature move. Girgamesh can also learn it.

This fucker takes the cake. Air slash would put him to that HP every time, and then the enemy use a full restore.
It kept going even after this. On the 5th to last air slash, we got a crit so they couldn't full restore. I might be a skill less item spammer myself, but at least I don't spam full restores.
We also uh fight one in a bikini, for some reason.
It looks like it belongs in LoL as a pool party skin.
Another new one. A lot of these are pretty forgettable, but I might as well show what they look like if I don't think we saw it before.

Whats noticeable about is a move she has called stimata strike, and Stimata gleam
Both cause your pokemon to be unable to heal for five turn.

But here the weird part this match ended after one of my pokemon died, and then a Perish Song like effect killed the Jeannearc (The turn it dies her perish count hit 0) . I don't have any pokemon who know that move, or any like that, so I have no idea what the fuck happen.
With this move, Karma is now a real live wire, PYSCHO KILLER QU'EST-CE.
It also turns out winning or losing means nothing for the rewards. You will always get a nugget, and then a big nugget every cycle.
I am not sell any big nuggets but, boy do they give out a lot of money.
Small ones as well. Most of the small ones are from boxy big nugget hunting.

I also start training juicebox because we have neglected him for too long.
And his first move with metronome causes a error message.

Sadly this will only weaken skree. As his infection doesn't hurt zombie types.
I like this move we keeping it.
And this is a nice payoff move for using other three flying types, and is a easy replace for rush which I rarely use.
Seems good for a duo battle. Which to what I know are post game.

Look Juicebox learned a real stab move. As nice as encore was, I am going to replace it.

Confuse ray is just upgraded sweet kiss, as funny as thinking juicebox would float up to the enemy for a kiss, we going to replace it.

Jack Frost's evo is pretty sick. Also, I know nothing about Fate, but some of these have pretty good species names. Gillesaster and Bersercules are fantastic.

Episode 34: Synthetic battles.
First things first we are wonder trading this thing back, It is useless to us because we need two of them, might as well just catch two later.
And what we get is...Wait is that.
The LP crossover none of us expected.

OH oh oh oh it's a qmarks type. (???) Our first Qmarks.
What makes Qmarks interesting is that the type has weak or super effective match ups. OR This one would but it's also a water type.
Few other notes about Qmarks. 90% of them (I think there maybe like a handful you can legit get otherwise, not counting playing in randomiser mode) is wondertrade only.
Most of them also learn Qmark type move(s) by leveling.
There also a Qmarks type Eevee which is post game only. So yeah we likely wont see it for years.
Anyway here is our current team for city exploreing.
With Juicebox being a EXP share soak,and Defagger just being a backup encase we run into something that requires high level Great stats legendary pokemon to carry our sorry asses.
The Synth city PC has a move tutor.
The only one I like is Last resort and we already have it.

I was also looking in the TM/HMs we have. I found permafrost useless as no enemy poke ever entry hazards. So I am replacing it with snowbank.

It charges at skree and gets infected, which is one of the reasons I love using skree as a tank.
A combine effort of slash and the infection shave off a pretty penny worth of HP.

Manectric really dislike the flash backs to the classic N64 Zelda game.

We switch in Defagger because all in all, despite the level disadvantage, the enemy can't do shit when fighting him. Even with the mega stats.
Look how little damage extreme did.
Discharge does more, and paralyzing us. But it doesn't matter.
Because we have the secret power of Crits.
If this was a fate mon even just switching in would have given him at least double or more of this pitiful amount.

Excellent episode as always. Anyway, if Jirachi isn't going to save Deviant from the cops then stronger Pokémon seems like a good bet, especially since you're under leveled in most of these battles. You have enough money to buy healing items. Although evolution stones is mighty tempting...

Jack uses hail so we can start to slowly weaken this wish making bastard.
On our next turn we use Ice Punch

Ehh, except maybe the evo stones, stringer Pokemon seems like the best bet, even given how underwhelming it is.

Well, rare candies are kind of bad before level 50 because it messes with the stats and EVs. If they gave you 10 of each vitamin that would have been fucking orgasmic because it would cover a whole team's EVs without the training, but it is what it is.

Yeah I was under the impression that rare candies kind of suck, but I'm a filthy casual who doesn't get into IVs and EVs much, so I didn't really know why.
The quantity of all of it was too low though, imo. You get, what, enough medicine to boost maybe two Pokemon? Definitely could have been more generous and made the wish feel more meaningful.
