In the same vein, and lulzy as all hell, is this *cheff kiss* of a moment, internet connected video cameras everywhere are the best type of big tech interference in elections I'm now convinced.

Daniel Webster is a literal seditious (didn't vote to certify Biden's electoral votes in January 2021) member of congress so primary challenging him from the crack of light emanating from his right in a mostly boomer based district was an intentional choice to fail at in order to grift off of is the only thing I can conceive of being her basis of a roadmap when this scheme was cooked up in her head initially. However she's also not the only loser in a primary scenario like this crying rigged elections in the wake of defeat either, but the others don't have threads here too, so I can't post about them, to the best of my knowledge. A lolsuit rerun would be funny again too, thread's got that right.

My suggestion to her next primary, take a public speech class; kill the San Fernando, California, valley girl affectaton to every fucking word that comes out of your mouth, do it yesterday, you're not starring in Clueless. There, your electability just got off the ground to its knees, and you didn't even have to become a better candidate.

She actually won the nomination last time when she ran in an open race. She switched to this district because she had no chance of actually winning the prior one ever.

Not as impressive as nearly winning a competitive race against an incumbent to be honest. Generally in seats where the opposing party wins by +10-+20 competent people won't run because they (correctly) realize they have no chance in the general election, leading to the primaries of the perennially losing party to be a who's who of crazy nutjobs. It's why you occasionally see the bait articles on "legitimate neo-nazi wins primary race!" because they were running unopposed in a district where the other team wins by 50 points.

Sneaking up on an incumbent that's asleep is a good way to get in Congress for life though, AOC for example.
