After announcing that she was pan and closing the live, she came back a few minutes later to issue a rebuttal to the Tweets saying she was faking to get oppression points, and she was actually homophobic because, well, see above. she's collaborating with Shalini Vadhera who owns Ready Set Jet Beauty (some beauty company based in India), a legit business person, to teach girls in India makeup techniques...i wonder how long until she's found out...

I wouldn't consider that company ethical. I think they're legal because they're registered. Lolcow said that the Indian government partnered with that woman to educate young women about makeup for potential future careers as MUAs or influencers/YTers. But that woman's company is shady af. It has a buy-in requirement that gives off serious pyramid scheme vibes. A contour aficionado on Lolcow went through the ingredients of the contour stick and said it was overpriced crap. There are better products for far cheaper. Lillee paid around $100 to join the scheme.

I don't think the company is going to abandon LJ because they're desperate for anything. The founder is almost certainly part of engagement pods and associated with LJ's sketchy IG games. LJ started using profanity and talking about girl bosses on what a live that the founder probably assumed would be a professional interaction. The founder looked disgusted. The live was only 5 minutes, and usually LJ's "interviews" last 30+ minutes.

The Indian government is being stupid if they actually partnered with these train wrecks. The influencer and wannabe influencer market is already packed. The MUA scene on YouTube is even more packed. It's highly competitive and the chances of those young woman going anywhere profitable in the social media world is likely so negligible, it's not even worth considering. I don't think LJ is going to teach anyone how to be competitive MUA. She does the same look over and over with different shades. She doesn't do any notable contouring. Weddings are a huge deal in Indian and likely a notable source of income for Indian MUA, and none of her shit is wedding worthy for India. The attendees would be better served by watching the top MUAs on YouTube to learn how to make a living as a MUA. The founder's SM is packed full of bots. She has even less reach than LJ.

Just to add about the shoes straps.
She has this "issue" with several shoes, maybe most of them. Comparison between her ankles (left) with normal ankles (right) and similar shoes.
