Is there a chance that Laur is after infamy? Maybe she thinks if she gets enough "haters" she can get LJ to get a pity apperance in a Katy Perry music video like Rebecca Black? LJ is too much of a potato to ever be able to make something as awful as Friday.

Her eyes aren’t huge, she just opens them as wide as possible because she thinks it gives her Disney eyes. A little tip, Laur: it doesn’t. It just makes her look psychotic.
She does conveniently leave out the parts about fraud. And she’s too stupid to realize that by posting about the farms constantly, people would undoubtedly come here out of curiosity if anyone other than us and lolcow gave a shit about anything she posts.
Gotta love that she’s trying so hard to shove her daughter into fame and literally no one cares. They could never handle actual fame because there’d be a hell of a lot more criticism than a couple of online forums.

With the amount Laur spent on fake followers she could've probably set up LJ in community college or cosmotology school to get her on a path towards an actual job. Sure it wouldn't make her famous, but it would help her make some real money of her own and potentially even good, steady work. Even if LJ somehow did become a famous guru/influencer/whatever that's an incredibly fickle source of income and even the most successful gurus and influencers can quickly loose everything.
I wonder how much LJ herself even wants any of this, and how much Laur is just doing everything because it's what she wants.

LJ seems to genuinely like playing with makeup, and I think that if she pursued whatever training and certifications were necessary, she'd be able to make a living doing what she enjoys.
But getting brides ready on their wedding days, or doing prom makeup for high school girls, or being the MUA on photo shoots isn't good enough for Laur; her kid's got to be a famous genius MUA/beauty guru who is also a model, actress and singer! And she seems to have pulled Lillee Jean into her stage-mom fantasies--Which, if LJ has Williams syndrome, might not have been too hard to do.
Laur could have spent all of the money she blew on fake sm followers on education, but spending it to get LJ's teeth fixed would have been the best investment, given how badly she wants to get into an appearance-dependent line of work. But maybe that's part of the sabotage that ensures LJ will never actually succeed, and thus never be able to leave her crazy "momager" behind.

It's tough. I get the impulse to want the best for your kid and want to help in every way possible for them to achieve their goals, but I would hope that every parent has realistic expectations. Poor LJ is not special, talented, beautiful, whatever it is Laur is trying to push. She's not those things, but she is at least average and may have things that are above average about her that are being neglected or ignored for this horseshit dog and pony show. That's the sad part. If LJ is a bit exceptional then it's even worse of Laur to push this proving yet again that it's almost always the parent that is the true cow.

Totally agree. LJ just wants to play with her Disney princesses and makeup (and make Mother happy because hell hath no fury and all of that).
That would mean independence. LJ can't be allowed to have that.
I actually think her teeth are cute and her eyes are pretty when she doesn't make them bug out like a psycho. Not influencer material, but she's not a hag, either.
