Fortunately that $28k did go to poor Vincent (she argued it's one of the reasons she be allowed to stay), but Laur will never be paying that back to the city. I'm shocked they gave it to her in someone else's name, too....surely that can't be anything but id theft. Are they even married? Her and Earl?

Dumb question #2, but what happens on 3/2 if they've already been evicted? I don't see Vincent getting anymore out of them, and if they're already out, what's to adjucate?

I don't think Vincent actually received the money. I'm not a lawyer or a landlord or anything, but my understanding of US tenant laws is that if a landlord accepts any amount of money from their deadbeat tenant during an active eviction, it resets the clock on the mandatory 30 day period.

Granted, I don't know if it's the same for all states or if it's different in New York, if any fellow kiwis know the answer please correct me. But if it is, Vincent would have not taken the money cuz he just wants them out. The laws surrounding rentals and evictions are absurdly skewed in favor of the occupant, that's why it's next to impossible to legally kick out squatters.

Also, Laur could be straight up lying. She's demonstrated that she's perfectly happy committing perjury and lying right to the judge's face, even on things that are on record and demonstrably false.

Yes.

The rent is usually paid into an escrow account until the eviction matter is settled.

But it's not clear to me how much they already owed the landlord when Laur secured the loan; could it have been for back rent? She claims she paid rent six months in advance to the landlord - but wasn't he already trying to evict them last winter / early spring?

At any rate, her big argument in the 3/2/26 hearing was supposed to be that she didn't understand why they were being evicted since the landlord was "made whole" by Laur paying six months of rent up front (ignoring that they didn't pay for January, and multiple months prior to July 2025.) Then she veered off into schizo-land by adding in various conspiracies. But the basis for her case is that she feels they shouldn't be evicted because she got a loan to pay from July to December 2025; she wants the landlord punished in some manner; and she wants her free apartment back.

That smells funny to me because you’re not supposed to even be able to pay rent up front in NYC.

OK, I normally don't pay much attention to the Truemans but eviction sagas always pique my autism. The landlord originally rented this place to the Truemans in 2020, during Covid times where the gibs were plenty and many places had rental moratoriums. After their initial two year lease was due to expire in July 2022, the landlord tried to evict them for the first time. He did not cite nonpayment as the issue at that time:

They were supposed to be evicted in December 2022:

Laur dodged service of this eviction nonstop, applied for rental protection programs, etc. This eventually led to the landlord dropping the case and settling with Laur at one point. It seems like he didn't have proper documentation of their lease agreement, or some other issue was causing him to drop the case until he had more evidence (for instance, the building wasn't a multi-unit one at the time - the landlord's office was on the first floor of the house, and the Truemans were living on the second floor and in the attic.)

Attempts to get the Truesmans out repeated in 2023 and 2024; the 2024 case is what's currently being fought by Laur. At some point, the issue changed from the landlord just wanting them out, to a huge amount of back rent due: Laur stopped paying rent back in September 2023. At the time she applied for that $28k housing authority loan, she already owed $67k in back rent:

So Laur is just straight up lying that the loan she took out covered all of her rent payments; it didn't even cover half her arrears. They've been living in this place rent-free for the last quarter of 2023, *all of 2024, all of 2025, and all of 2026 so far (the loan cost her nothing since she never intended to pay it back.)

*edited to add this missing fact.

@AnOminous can you lawfag this? To my untrained eye, this looks like some type of defamation of the defendant, the landlord, whose seeking eviction in this case. It looks like Laur is schizophrenically acting like the imagined global syndicate/cult she thinks is gangstalking her are the defendants and ends up making baseless accusations against the actual defendant, along with demanding his assests be frozen.

lol @ going the sovcit route now
I think they finally have, which is why Laur is going apeshit. While I doubt she put much effort into finding a new apartment over the past year the current landlord has been trying to evict them - certainly far less effort than she's put into filing pro se schizo-pleadings - I also think her cockroach luck in scamming NYC apartments has finally run out.

They're likely in a motel or shelter now, because none of what Laur has been filing should have prevented the sheriff / marshal from evicting them on the 9th. Certainly we've seen no new photos of Laur's dwarf daughter posing in front of the shrubbery outside their apartment, and no photos at all.

Lillie / Laur have been issuing press releases about submitting crappy selfies to some sort of federal registration, and Laur has been retweeting cat pictures since Eviction Day. They're the big city dwelling version of the Chu family, only the Truemans still have their car to sleep in.

This would be their perfect opportunity to move to LA for that frightening goblin to hit it big. Fuck that pic is schizo.

If I remember correctly, Didn't NY keep extending the eviction moratorium from Corona?

Maybe? Like I said, I really don't know much about it. But that would suck if it were. It should not have to take 3 ½ fucking years for a person to evict a bad tenant, let alone have to put up with them living in their property rent-free that whole time. Imagine being so awful that even a tankie would look at it the situation and go "damn, poor guy".

Hopefully she's been given the boot, only time will tell when one of their ugly faces pops up again, which it inevitably will. Thanks @multiverse for the info!

I might be wrong but when I was apartment hunting I wondered if it would be possible to pay rent in advanced and I was told it was against the law so it might just be when you’re first trying to rent. Who knows but holy shit over 3 years to evict a tenant is wiiiiiild.

@multiverse this is amazing thank you.

So the court date on 3/2...IF they're out already, could that be to finalize what they owe Vincent? If the $30k loan only covered half of what they actually owe? Or does just getting them out of the apartment remove that burden (that doesn't seem right but it's NYC so...)?

I think Laur is being court ordered to not redact information. I guess she really pissed the judge off. Someone will need to invite him to our Spetsnaz listening post in Minsk to join the lizardpeople, the ghost of Susan Wojicki, a bunch of youtubers who haven't been online in years, and uh...the illuminati on our grand conspiracy to stop Lillee Jean's acting career. I can't wait to hear more rants about how handwriting and signatures are PII.

So the court date on 3/2
The upcoming court date was Laur trying to stay the eviction order, despite the marshal being ordered to evict them 2/9. Laur pleded that Earl is disabled and APS ought to prevent the eviction, plus her way famoos daughter was having surgery the week of 2/9 and the trolls would find her at the hospital if they were evicted. At least, this is what Laur said five days prior to the eviction date. As far as the judge is concerned, this is what is on his docket, Laur asking that their almost four year eviction saga end with the Truemans never leaving.

At this time, there are no public documents confirming whether the Truemans have been evicted - but there are also no documents that indicate they can't be evicted (i.e. nothing filed has superseded the eviction order.)

Holy shit the last time I saw this crazy-eyed, small-tooth girl she was claiming to be rich and famous, and I watched a YouTube video on her. This was a few years back, though. Nice to see she is still stretching those eyelids to the max!
I knew she was nuts but I had no clue her mother is also a grade-A psycho.

This thread is my new favorite. ❤️

Wowza. That's a whole lot of chat gpt.

So I take it they did get evicted, hence the screed? Fun.

I have to double down again on either Williams' or FAS (I know, rate me autistic af). The microdontia, the prediabetes in adolescence, her face structure, her voice (although people with Williams' usually have gorgeous singing voices). Because LJ hasn't ever written anything at that level in her goddamn life. She can barely spell basic words ffs.

Either there are several deletions on her 7th (maybe not all 28?), or Laur was on the sauce 25 years ago. Because doing this at 25 and thinking it's anything other than literally retarded is indicative of actual developmental delays.

I'm ready for my flogging. You don't have to be gentle it's been a rough week lol.

Due to LJ’s very thin upper lip, lack of philtrum, and her opening her eyes extra wide in photos to hide her epicanthic folds (which are apparent in her non-stretched-eyes photos) my vote is on FAS.
Shame on you, mom!

Laur has been filing more lunacy all weekend, but we probably won't get to see the documents until Monday when the clerk scans them in.

This makes thirty total filings in the past eleven days. For a woman who hasn't been able to find another apartment since July 2022, Laur sure is putting forth a lot of effort. D'you think she's staying warm by camping at a 24/7 Kinkos?

Is "Harvesting Alert" an actual legal thing?

Is "Harvesting Alert" an actual legal thing?
Lol, it's only real when it's a banner on Kiwifarms, announcing the 🌽 harvest 🌽

I think Laur is conflating the idea of the SHEILD Act (which is a consumer protection law wherein customers must be notified if a website with sales data has had a data breach) and the Personal Privacy Protection Law (which regulates how state agencies collect information) with her own schizoid fantasies. These types of laws protect passwords and financial data, not your name, address, and other things you file publicly in court.

It's not illegal to follow public court cases and comment on them - think of all the true crime and court watcher channels there are out there. Even boomers get in on the fun with neighborhood watch type Facebook groups, outing everyone's arrests and police drama.

If she wasn’t so fucking insane she could be a great employee somewhere. Look at how productive she is!
