That's hilarious, especially since he only unlocked his account like a day ago. He went on a "drama break" after posting his hot-takes on the NZ shooting and PDP, later claiming he was just joking to own the right wingers, but removed everything while privated.

The Unknown Otaku, the guy who made the first "trap is not a slur, pedro" video held a podcast with other small youtubers (at least I don't know them), and SMonroeShow jumped in around 15 minutes in.

They basically just go over the same social media posts and the BreadTube subreddit post people linked above already. At 20:18 Dimitri says that PedRo and his followers reportbombed his tweets, even ones that had nothing to do with this situation. He wonders why it is that the only people who complain about traps are people who don't even pass. ?
Their main conclusion is that PedRo now has too much clout in "the community" to make completely unfounded statements, because people trust them to make proper research and take their word as gospel. Attached their placeholder screen "anime youtube tier list" where they marked PedRo as pretty much the only downward trending creator. :story:

Edit: Monroe got attacked after people found out he was an "egg" years ago but stopped transitioning after he realized he was just a feminine gay guy, and blames the manipulative "pinkpiller" community for even pushing him that far. Of course people started claiming he's a transgirl with internalized transphobia. Twitter thread on him coming clean

Historically there's been a huge gray area with feminine gay guys and trans women and a lot of that has to do with homophobia (because at least the person would be a straight woman, in those cases). Nowadays, though, you'd be accused of transphobia for saying gay guys trooning out has in part been due to homophobia and this shit with the overlapping 'phobias is giving me a headache.

What the fuck is that even supposed to mean anyway? Generally people with gender dysphoria tend to realize they have GD without needing some form of media to tell them that they are.

The entire video reads like PR is jumping on the tranny bandwagon.

If somebody needs a romanticized anime to be convinced they were Trans, you're not Trans. You're a wannabe weeaboo waifu-fag that want's to be pretty kawaii-desu and has no actual desire to be a woman.,

A little late, but this thread is pretty slow going. First, the anime never covers that part because it happens at the end of the manga. Second, and I’ve never read the manga, so I can’t confirm, but it’s to my understanding based on what happens is that the character decides she is not happy being transgender and detransitions. Gender roles in Japan are fucked in general, so there’s possibly an intelligent argument to be made about general sexism and perception of gender identity in men vs. women depending on what happens exactly, but we all know they’re just upset because acknowledging the fact people detrainsition at all is transphobic.
