High Sulfur Dioxide concentrations today. Stay indoor orders.

That Civil Protection car with speakers at minute 3:40 of the video has reminded me of the beginning of the pandemic, when they passed through the streets remembering people that there was home confinement. It was really dystopian.

As BB has said, yesterday a lockdown was ordered in the towns of Los Llanos de Aridane, El Paso and Tazacorte due to extremely unfavorable air quality, and it was deactivated after a few hours. Source - http://archive.today/aBOwC

It seems that La Palma volcano is passing the quake torch to Indonesia, where a 7.3 undersea quake occurred yesterday, causing a tsunami warning. http://archive.today/jFg5p

Latest Bushcraft Bear. "Nothing to See here" no really he means it. He can't even see the Lava anymore. It's all dead quiet and calm.

Kinda unsettling tbh. You'd expect it to slowly fizzle out but now it just suddenly stops completely.
we saw lava just the other day?
wouldnt we see a ton of ash, smoke and steam as it cools down?
seems weird we see just nothing.
my guess is that the winds are real favorable towards the town and blowing away from it.
can someone check which way the wind is blowing in la palma?

Currently the winds on La Palma are coming from the west, there's a weird lil' spinning pattern north of the islands. Storm building up maybe?

Do not trust the volcano being quiet. Greece got a couple earthquakes recently, and from what I've seen, if that region gets an earthquake the volcano slows down for a bit, then comes back.

Things are really quieting down. So much so that they are sending expendable brave fools up to take a look inside. Geology Grad Students count as Virgins, right?

Just another reminder that nothing cool ever happens. At this point I don't believe the Chinese dam will ever break, South Africa will ever really collapse, or Apophis will actually hit us. Feels bad.
