4.0 earthquake on Tenerife, 59km down. Not sure why this one bothers me but it's sticking to the back of my mind ever since I saw it pop up on twitter. Hopefully it doesn't mean anything.

Edit
wtf is that url? RockPO0pATI? for a channel called afarTV? youtube are you okay?
I keep looking at afarTV #1 and because there's almost no wind, the ash and the smoke are just swirling around, yet it is glowing red and orange. It must be going off like mad tonight to make enough light to shine through all that pollution. (Pollution that no one concerned with the world's ecosystem seems to be talking about btw)

Edit 2
And another thing!
I used to be able to use google maps and zoom in on La Palma and there would be a lil' caution decal over where the volcano was. Now there isn't one. Where's my danger warning google?!

They moved it to Florida for when the Tsunami hits
They might as well leave it there. CAUTION - This is Florida!

Different livestream. The other ones seem to be on a loop? Maybe this one isn't. Edit - Nevermind, pretty sure it repeats. Wtf tonight.

Yeah, they all pull from the main feed that loops at night because people are sleeping, but the volcano is most pretty. :( I gotchu though! Have some angles and graphs and other nerdy volcano stuff!

Looks like an internet tower might be about to get lava'd on. That would be bad, right? Edit - 21:49 tower fall down. Hope no one was using that.

According to VentuSky what little wind there is on La Palma is going to be coming from the south instead of north for a little bit. Wonder what if anything that will change.

isn't the wind blowing north what kept the ash and dust from overwhelming the capital?
another large expelling of lava and ash, plus southern winds could fuck them up bad

That's what I'm thinking too, and last I checked the wind was 10-15 mph from the south and the volcano was still being nasty. I hope the folks on the northern part of the island are paying attention.

The third lava flow to reach the ocean (the same one that buried Los Guirres beach a couple of days ago) causes new lockdowns in the towns of Tazacorte, San Borondón and the area between El Cardón and Camino los Palomares. The interaction between lava and salt water can cause emanations of gases such as hydrochloric acid.
In accordance with the Volcanic Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands (PEVOLCA) it is recommended to close doors, windows, blinds and any air intake from the outside, and, if possible, confine yourself to the innermost rooms.
It is also suggested to seal the joints of doors and windows with adhesive tape, to have on hand systems that allow communication or receive information, such as telephones or radio. Source

The strongest earthquake of the last hours has been a 4.8, and intensity IV, registered at 08.09 hours in Mazo at 36 kilometers deep. Source

And an interesting audio. Sara Sánchez, a sound technician who collaborates with INVOLCAN, has recorded the sound of the lava falling into the ocean with a hydrophone:

BB did a longer livestream this morning. I only caught a piece of it. I also can’t recommend his comments sections enough. Apparently he’s been discovered by the apocalyptic religious folk proclaiming the Rapture. It’s like a tiny little tribe of Lolcows discovered in the wild.

Edit; Granted they may not be completely crazy. The Alert level for Italy’s Vulcano Volcano just went to Orange. That’s one with a long history of big Kabooms.

You *can't* recommend lolcows to kiwifarmers?
