Evening Bushcraft Bear. He went for a nature hike a bit closer to the Volcano, kind of neat seeing just how much Ash and Tephra is blanketing the Forrest.
 
did they save the bees or the equipment? how in the name of fuck do bees survive that without overheating or suffocating ?
Yes, the bees are alive. Quoting the article:
Bees, when in danger, are able to defend themselves creating a layer of propolis to cover any gaps, leaving only a small hole to get in and out. According to one owner of several hives affected by lava, this material looks like “glue” that cannot be removed “even with a spatula.”
And seems that the owner had not yet removed the summer honey, so they had food. Lucky bees!

INVOLCAN spokesman has said that the volcano is once again in an explosive phase like the one in October, and the eruption is surely not going to end any time soon. (Source)

Another lava flow, the thirst since the eruption began, has reached the ocean, above the old lava road that formed the San Juan eruption in 1949. (Source)

A 4.7 earthquake registered three hours ago, 37 km deep.
