Halo 3. Mario64 had shit controls, even back in the day. For context Crash Bandicoot was being developed at the same time and didn't have dog shit controls. I just remember being annoyed while playing it when it was first released.
Crash plays like shit.

Sonic the Hedgehog as an overall brand, surely.

The only thing I remember hating about Mario 64's controls was the camera and the wing cap. Flying in Banjo Kazooie felt much more intuitive, although they had the benefit of several years iteration by that point.
Yeah, the flight never felt good, I can get by to beat the game but it never feels good. Same for the flying in Super Mario World honestly, SMB3 's felt much better. One more to call out while bitching about flying in platformers, Sonic 2's hang glider (Game Gear); it's so cool but controls abysmally.

I'm fine with either RE4 or FF7 winning
They're both good but FF7 deserves it more, it was a good game and didn't ruin its franchise, unlike RE4.

I don't think there's anything inherently gross about it.
It has faggotry in it, which is inherently gross.

FFVII is overrated.

RE4 was probably one of the best action horror games, but also one of the worst Resident Evil games.
In the sense it wasn't resident evil. But was it goooood.
I agree on both points, FF7 is overrated but it's still very good, and better than RE4. RE4 is only good on Wii btw.

Undertale itself is good, I don't think there's anything inherently gross about it. The community around it is absolute degeneracy, and its existence actively makes the game worse. Is Deltarune the same way, or does it play in to the fan base?
The game is a bit coy with including the "fan favourite" characters from the previous game (Papyrus is notably absent, and Sans is even more aloof than he was in Undertale) but there are no direct references (besides one specific thing in Chapter 4 I think was a reference to a Reddit post but I honestly don't know enough to say for sure). The game does a good job of having meta humour without actually breaking the fourth wall down, only occasionally tapping on it.

If that's the metric you're going by, I think Sonic fans would be more "insufferable" by a lot.
Kojima fans' greatest sin is they are incapable of admitting when he fucks up --it's always played off as some genius 4D chess move like he's a fucking JoJo character-- while Sonic fans have spent nearly 30 years running defence for absolute slop because for whatever reason Sonic Team are incapable of learning from their mistakes.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles sisters stay winning.

Im not going to voot for the other match up because I hardly played either, but based on gut feeling I would say FF7 based purely on cultural impact alone. RE4 had its days, but the influence of FF7 seems to be eternal. For better or worse.

MGS doesn't count as weebshit because Kojima is an Ameriboo. A vote for MGS is a vote for Life, Liberty, and the American way. 🦅

Resident Evil 4 is the best in the series (regardless of how fucked up the series got as a consequence) FF7 doesn't have Seifer killing Odin in it. Easy choice, and if you choose differently, you're an indian
