I have not seen any talk about KCD being popular in China at all.Im guessing not many? Doesn't seem like the sort of game Chinese folks really would appreciate, at least from the Chinese games I’ve seen.

Yes because if the Chinese market grows then it means future games will start to shift towards that demographic. This is what is happening gradually in the games industry and also some movies. I posted the sales a while back but, comparatively, US numbers playing this game are only about 2% higher than Chinese (according to Steam). We have magic negros because of george floyd, girlboss assassins because women in games, and faggot nobles in this game because lgbt. Mark my words: next game Vavra will do some forced Chinese representation.I meant does it really matter in practical terms?
The Chinese market is almost neck to neck with the US. Last I check the US percentage of sales was only 2% higher than China. That is significant compared to other popular games in the US like Space Marine 2 and Helldivers which were about 20-30% higher. This gives Warhorse a higher incentive to reach out to a Chinese market in the future.I have not seen any talk about KCD being popular in China at all.
Not a blackpill; the game has been out for less than a month and most normies havent even finished it. The dust is nowhere near settled for such a bloated and overlong game, so while kcd2 is going to sell just fine, just like Last Jedi did, by the time any DLCs or a sequel come out, the fanbase will be halved or more as people actually complete the game and theyre made aware of how 'woke' (marxist) it isBlackpill part 2View attachment 6992802
You have a lot of faith in the average gamer. I don’t.Not a blackpill; the game has been out for less than a month and most normies havent even finished it. Its not that I have faith in gamers, I just understand how markets work by trade; this is a bait-and-switch product, while bg3 was not (not politically, anyway. Act 3 was completely unfinished and should have led to an anti-trust class action). It might take some retards a while to figure out vavra actively hates them, but once a few reviews (like syntheticmans) get out and torpedo the embracer group/vavra inb4 about the game not being 'woke', it will change the conversation until eventually, defending kcd2 as an anti-'woke' person will just be untenable. You have a lot of faith in the average gamer. I don’t.
Edit: Baldurs gay 3 proves this is an incorrect take
Baldur's Gate 3 never advertised itself as "based" though and Swen Vincke is polar opposite to Daniel Vavra in terms of PR. BG3 never had a cadre of online reviewers marketing the game as something it wasn''t like Worth A Buy. You knew there was a bear sex scene in it somewhere. You knew there was a twink vampire in it. The marketing for BG3 was worlds different from the "historically accurate" 15th century Bohemia made by man with "based" shirt. You have a lot of faith in the average gamer. I don’t.

im talking about gameplay you fuckwadslol really ? I am still early in the game and havent noticed a shit ton of woke bs, so far my biggest issues with the game are combat and the clunkiness of the menus, guess they decided to hide the faggy parts for later which I suspect might become a more common thing in the game industry given the increasing backlash to this shit, encountering something I disagree with in game wont immediately make me uninstall but pretending as if a Medieval Catholic is going to respect Jewish burial rites is delusional and funny.
The elephant in the room: Vavra. He is a lolcow and people will bait him to said retarded shit. Without new content out people will ask questions when this happens. His larping as a republican on twitter won't give him cover anymore. Everything his posts will have comments about the Hans stuff and lying about it.Baldur's Gate 3 never advertised itself as "based" though and Swen Vincke is polar opposite to Daniel Vavra in terms of PR. Speaking of shops I love how it's canon that gunpowder has literally just been invented and the gun Henry has is this experimental prototype piece of tech that no other npc in the game has but then in Kuttenberg there's suddenly a gun shop that sells guns and has hundreds of them just lying around. There is at least one weapon shop that is bugged and you cannot enter it even tho you can see the NPC thru a window just standing there. 10/10 game btw
Nobody play tested this shit
The potential blessing in disguise is that at least we'll see fewer niggers, given how your average Chinese person feels about them. I'm sure they'll find some utterly reprehensible "positive stereotype" to mould every single Chinese character into instead, like the wise sage or kickass staff-wielding warrior princess like something out of Dynasty Warriors, but at least fewer niggers.Yes because if the Chinese market grows then it means future games will start to shift towards that demographic. Games made by teams from outside of your own region of the world tend to be very different - different settings, different lore, different approach to issues - and thus more likely to be appealing from an exotic standpoint. The Chinese players might be interested to see how the medieval times in Europe were and thus take to playing a game that ostensibly claims to be a fair representation of how life was then. (That's not saying I think we should pander to these groups. I, personally, don't believe they're playing the game because they want to feel represented (as much as groups like Sweet Baby Inc., et al., want devs to think that), but because they're curious.) The biggest problem from my perspective is that these Chinese gamers, most of them probably not well read on Christianity or European societies, will now think that the West would tolerate Gypsy girlbosses, faggotry, or muslim niggers in the heartlands of Christian Europe. And thus, the rewriting of history continues. It's depressing, if the Chinese are playing this in number then they already find it appealing for whatever reason, making the next game have a Chinatown or having some chinky vendor is only going to harm the verisimilitude even further...and I don't understand why people don't understand this.
I thought I was going crazy when I came across the gun store. First a jew miller tells me he invented gunpowder, then Im suddenly using ready-made prototypes, and then theres an established business around guns??? They just didn't give a shit about lore consistency opting instead to go for the "rule of cool" approach.I thought I was going crazy when I came across the gun store.
