You can take pleasure in eating shit, but it doesn't stop you from being a shit eater. It also doesn't stop everybody from judging you for being a shit eater. Also, when you eat the shit, your reward is a larger second helping with diarrhea sauce. The problem here, is we ALL get served that second order of shit, which is why we're even more displeased with you.

What are you even enjoying about this game? Besides all of the woke shit the game is just worse than the first one. The combat was simplified but is still just as flawed and unbalanced, the writing got noticably worse with reddit tier quips and a story that just keeps meandering along aimlessly for 40 hours. There is barely any player choice during quests and the open world is basically empty except for quest givers, shops and hunting spots. It also has the same problem with the third act as the first game were they make you do busywork right before the climax ruining any suspense.

I really don't get the attempt to make Avowed a "based" game. It's comparing woke medieval game and woke fantasy game. At best you can argue the former is worse for historical revisionism, but the latter makes Whites literally an evil race (but doing it with Orcs is racist).

I don't think anyone is, rather pointing out the hypocrisy of using 'optional' to defend one and attacking the other for having 'optional' elements. The whole plan is to see what % of woke they can push without getting full pushback. So far i'd say KCD2 showed they can pushed quite a bit.
 
I think it's been so long since the first game released that most people forgot all the weird or deviant shit you could do in the first game. I remembered when I first played through the main quest you were supposed to get information from the priest in one of the villages but he wouldn't tell you anything. So I drank with him thinking that would get him to talk only for it to end with you and the priest getting piss drunk and fucking whores in a barn. Then you have the allegations of Hans being 15 in the game which on it's face is false, nothing in both games suggest Hans is 15 other than the Codex referencing the historical Hans Capone but both games changed elements of the actual history to better fit the story. Finally the DLC from the first game is all about helping Hans get laid, the love letter he writes is about how much he wants to have sex with the Butchers daughter. Hans love letter.PNG
I don't begrudge people who didn't like KCD2 because of the woke shit in the second half of the game and those are valid criticism given the first game striving for authenticity but I feel like some posters are really reaching with the pedo accusations.
