I just straight up don't see this succeeding. Dragon Age Veilguard was much more normie friendly and had better brand recognition and it still flopped.

Maybe I'm wrong and it sells 10 million copies but man I really doubt it.

This is a niche product for history nerds and the fucked themselves by deliberately antagonizing said needs for internet good boy points.

I predict the game will sell well enough, review well and most people who play it will have positive reactions to it. I doubt it will be a flop but I also doubt it will be a phenomenon, just a niche title like KCD1. The real question will be if it does better or worse than game 1 relative to the increased production costs.

Grumz and the other big grifters are jumping ship because they realizes this one is a lost cause. The grifters never do anything, they just pose with dragons after they've been slain and act like they were the ones that slew them. They can sense this will not be the next Failguard flop and are preparing appropriately by hedging bets and saving face. Publisher influence is certainly possible, but remember that avoiding being the one critical voice against NEW POPULAR THING is something every grifter is always considering as well.

Vavra and Warhorse will go largely unpunished, and the gay nigger shit will get worse in KCD3. The same grifters will then come out against it and wonder how it could have happened.

I doubt it? I mean even though it has more money put into it (and marketing) I'm not really seeing many people interested. As someone on this thread said before (I can't remember who) and like you said, this game is niche and was made for a niche audience of historical enthusiasts, with a wider audience of people who don't want fucking modern day politics in their vidya. Now both audiences and going to feel betrayed in one way or another, plus I'm hearing more coverage of Vávra's sperging than much else. People talking positive about the game are ignoring the issues, anyone speaking positive about the game but not ignoring the issues is coping fucking hard, I mean fuck look at Mack, even Synth came out of his cave to call him a retard. Looking forward to his review instead.

My question now is this: Did Vavra or someone at Warhorse told him to make "violence against old white people" a selling point or was it just him being retarded? With all the shit Vavra said recently it could go either way. The "Do you take it up the bum, chuddie?!" part felt too personal for it to just be Mack coming up with it, it sounds pre-written by Vavra specifically.

I highly doubt he is selling out for review copies, and the suggestion he's being paid for reviews as a tiny channel is hilarious.

I actually think he's right, this game will be really fun and it's definitely not woke to have a gay character that you need to go through multiple dialogues to discover and isn't in your face. It'd be interesting to see if there are consequences if your caught, Mack hinted that there might be.

To relate it back to my favourite game; The Witcher 3 didn't have a scene, but you could deny a love interest with Ciri by claiming you were into women and the rural folk accepted that as perfectly normal. In the books she is either gay or bi, can't remember. So even that had this stuff in it and I never thought it was woke then.

EDIT: taking down the stream in pure cope from him though, he knows it wasn't his best performance and was just a shit video. I think he's largely correct, but he shouldn't be a fag and delete his embarrassing moments, owning it is better PR.

Then lets go back to the core issue: why did they feel they needed to hide it if they didn't think it would get backlash? The 'plot lines' is nothing but cope.

Mack also confirmed it was just a 'kiss' so i am 100% convinced now it's Hans. They probably wanted to test waters and put more in DLC.

He gave Call of Duty MWIII a biased positive review last year when he shit on nearly every other entry. He did it a few other times recently as well and that's only from the videos I watched.

BTW, the part about the "vile comments" is bullshit, both the comments on the video after the fact and livechat as shown by Synth were very mild. The "disgusting" comments Mack was talking about were them disagreeing with him or mildly telling him off for not seeing the forest for the trees. If there was a frog avatar calling him a kike libshit faggot shill, I missed it and frankly, this is literally what Vavra did with people calling him out on twitter so it would be very appropriate.
