Don't think I watched his MW3 review, not my type of game tbh.

I saw a few live chats that were definitely what I'd describe as edgelord tier, but since I haven't got the comment history I'll take your word for it, I agreed above, taking down the stream is pathetic and using that excuse is worse. Emotionally charged words like "vile" is cringe and definitely shows where his mind is at, i.e. embarrassed that he made such a shit show of a stream.

If you are any kind of reviewer or consumer advocate those things do matter greatly.
 
Here is something really ghetto: I just realized I still have the actual stream window open, despite the stream being long over and video deleted. I have the latest, by the end of the stream, comments in the livestream chat window but I couldn't find a way to upload them other than copy-pasting everything into word and saving it as a pdf file.

Lol calm down, I haven't read the books in about a decade lol. I couldn't remember if she romanced women in the books, I do remember the assault just not much else.

It's also not like we have Henry's full backstory in novel form, we know he likes girls because you can romance Theresa and who knows, he might be into men too? The great thing is, it's an RPG so you can decide if he's into that or not, more options aren't bad and it seems the way they've implemented it is somewhat realistic where finding a gay relationship isn't straightforward.

Am I ever going to follow that path? No, but I might see if I can kill him.

I'm also not about to spaz out and not buy a great game because there is a gay romance option that isn't even a side quest, it's a bit pathetic tbh.

Nice, I also screenshotted them here (had it open on one tab and on the other tab reloaded the page a minute later) so roughly a minute of comments may have gotten through, unless they commented in the gap I don't believe there was any hateful comments like he's claiming on the community tab

The point I am making here is that Mack absolutely shat on every COD released in over 10 years, then out of the blue he praises the one nobody actually liked, especially the one with the 5 hour campaign that is just Warzone maps with poor AI opponents over the more traditional scripted missions. Even other nu-COD fanboys shit on it, but not Mack. His taste can just be shit in this regard, but I am very suspicious. MWIII is the kind of game bells were made for, more than just for the campaign alone, but the fact he gave a thumbs up to the modern COD game with a really shit campaign? Yeah, not buying it. I was suspicious of him, but I think his shilling of KCD2 today kind of cements him as a shill either way.

If it was all so simple, they could just come out and correct the record in a transparent, straightforward way and it would all die instantly. Just give spoiler warnings and then put people's worries to rest. The constant dodging and weaving suggests either they are being sneaky/deceptive, or they're all retarded.
 
It doesnt matter if its optional or hidden (its not, we saw a leaked screenshot where it was clearly marked as a romance option which is "good" because otherwise you could accidentally end up as a faggot). Its still there, you are confronted with it, your amygdala processes the information, you know its wrong and you dont want it, but you are forced to accept it. Being confronted with the option of faggotry is a humiliation ritual. One of the biggest insults you can hurl at a man is to call him a faggot or even just imply he might be a faggot. Men will be offended and reply with an aggressive action, from denial to assault. To just sit there and let somebody call you a faggot is to be humiliated and ridiculed. If the game gives you the option to be a faggot, your amygdala doesnt process this information any different from somebody calling you a faggot to your face. Its an insult, it brings a negative response that you however cannot externalize. You are just forced to sit there and take it and internalize the negative emotions.
If you are ok with that and see nothing wrong with it, then you are already demoralized and your opinion doesnt matter because its the opinion of a defeated man.
The best equivalent to the situation in KCD is not Brother Lucas or even Toth as a character, its Toth clapping Henry on the ass as he is tied up in a torture dungeon. Its demeaning and supposed to wound you emotionally, seeing Henry that helpless, but it fits because its a fucked up situation. You end up escaping and taking revenge on Toth, letting you feel a sense of gratification.
KCD2 on the other hand slaps you on the ass and asks you if you like it.

Its the same with the nigger. You know its wrong, you know he is a liar, you know he isnt supposed to be there and that you should run him through with your sword at once for being a Mohammedian nigger. But you cant. You have to sit there and accept this lie, validating it despite your better knowledge. Its supposed to mentally humiliate you and instill a sense of weakness and defenselessness.

Literally 2 posts down from my last one is a conspiracy theory from a user that still thinks the gay scene isn't real...even as Mack just admitted it is and probably ruined his reputation in a nearly hour long stream just now. He played it for 25 hours, it's confirmed.
The game is woke and nobody will take it seriously as far as being historically accurate ever again. Let it go, no amount of cope will ever change it.

Are you referring to this romance being with Hans? Is there any confirmation of this? It'd make sense since he's very flamboyant in the first game. But it'd ruin the game, it seems like it's some random NPC?

Extra options being gay is because you usually start with the default?... Do you have the IQ of a Sub-Saharan? They don't say "hey let's add in more options to make the character straight" because they're straight by default and games where they don't do this people hate it and mod around it. (My recent struggles with romancing the hot nerd chic in Cyberpunk with broken console commands attests to this), people want more options and want to be able to romance who they want in a choice driven RPG.

Fair enough if you complaining about some character from a book with a wife and kids, but this is a nothing burger.

They tried to come out twice and give answers, one more vague, the other more explicit where they even shared background info about Musa (which they didn't want to do for spoiler reasons) and it didn't work out. Now the opinion is this:

If they really weren't and aren't experiencing any financial backlash and it's just grifters on x chomping at the bit to be on ground zero of the next Failguard, then there is no point to try a third time. Everything that could be said has been said. Fans are either confident in their preorders or waiting to buy it after reviews come out.
