Hello, I am currently blackout drunk on cheap vodka (for reference, Poliakov 1-liter vodka because I'm an eurofag).

I would like to post one of my OC memes. Feel free to give me hats and trash bins if you feel like it, but I think that Josh would laugh at my stupid fag post. Even though he never listened to Static-X, fucking idiot poser.

(I miss you dearly, Josh. Fuck sickos and fuck suicide.)

"Papa Johns, you provided the stuffed crust and gave me the option to add Alfredo sauce, and I took it" lives rent free in my head.

I've skipped watching Boglim Chronicles videos and went back to just leaving several hour long VODs from the first apartment on. He was so young and full of life :(
The first apartment he was at in the basement of that old 1920s complex was the peak of all Cobra imo. He not only peaked as person but with his content there. You had: Dating Stephanie, Couch Chris, Homeboy Scotty stabbing the chair, the beer "challenge" with Darf where Cobra passed out and turned purple, riding the bike down the hallway, the guitar smashing, the "what the fuck is this nasty shit" warlord dick shirt... literally hundreds of classic moments happened there. Once Cobes left his alcoholism became basically crippling and he stopped seeing friends. Things just got depressing after that.

For me when I want a cozy, comfy Cobra video I go back to that 2013 to 2016 period in the basement apartment.

I've been watching some compilations of early Cobra lately, and the difference is pretty striking. I was introduced to the boy's content relatively recently, and after seeing the gremlin creature he turned into toward the end, I was shocked to see just how normal he was back then.
He held down a job at Wendy's. He had normal aspirations. He talked about how he had a path to weaning himself off of the 'tard bucks. He managed his finances so that his wages could cover his rent and bills. He talked about saving up to buy a car.

Sure, there was some lunacy in there as well, but he wasn't the troglodyte we saw toward the end either.
It's really heartbreaking to see how everything went wrong. :feels: It didn't have to turn out like this.

Dang. I was cruising through what's new and I got real excited to see the cobes thread. But then I remember.

I miss him 🥺.

Losing that job at Wendy's was the turning point. If someone asked me "what was the single most important event that led to Cobras decline into alcoholism?" I'd point them to August 2016 when the fat fuck from Kentucky called Wendy's headquarters and complained about Josh having "dirty fingernails" (Cobes never handled food. He wiped down tables and filled people drinks) and got him fired. Suddenly he had unlimited free time and didn't have to worry about being too hungover or drunk to work. Then Covid hit a few years later and weens decided to fuel his out of control addiction directly by sending him booze and that was that.

It fit his whole vibe, too. It looked decrypted (his greasy webcam adding to the mystique), for a long time I really thought it was a half-furnished garage until he turned the camera and you could see the kitchen. If someone back in the day told me it was 90s era found VHS footage, it would have fooled me for a while, major league Gummo vibes that went away with his subsequent homes.

Not posted much in here much since it happened, but will have my drink with me to toast the BOY later. He indirectly got me through a lot of shit and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Just hope the family are doing the best they can, funeral permittable.
I have no doubt they miss him now that he's gone but I'm sure it's also a huge relief to not have to deal with him

ETA Sorry didn't realize this was an old post

I don't know how many people will admit to it but having dealt with terminal family members over the years, it's something that you do feel and then immediately make yourself feel horrible for. It's a grim part of life but I don't doubt it's probably something they've struggled with too.
