I think this, although incredibly unfortunate, can offer a lesson to those of us who were that weird kid: If nobody's saying anything, don't assume they're thinking something bad about you. Just because your critics remain vocal doesn't mean they're correct. Especially if they are, there is no reason to feed into their shit. Be that weird kid, be that awkward nuisance, be wild and free because at the end of the day, they will try to make you hate yourself because they're unsatisfied with their own lives. Fuck the troles, fuck sickos, and love one another. He was such a sweet little boy. I really got a good sense of what he must have been like, one of those really animated talkative weird kids you know that just kind of don’t mesh well with other children. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of him being bullied his entire life. I really hope that he knew how much we liked him - genuinely liked him - and how much we enjoyed watching him.
We lost a real one, boys. If only he didn't experience the grief of loss to make him weak, and maybe got back into his passions he would have made it through. When the going gets tough, lean into what you love to do. Don't take the easy route.
