I wasn’t able to watch last night. I can’t help but wonder, was anything about his mom or her side of the family mentioned?
 
Damn it. Why did it have to be Cobes? Why not someone like that Furfag, Kero?

I would happily sacrifice all the furfags in the world for our Goth prince of darkness.

No mention whatsoever. Only spoke about Cobes' stepmom. Clint said that after Cobes' birth it was just the two of them for a few years until Clint met his second wife.

Not his biological mom, no. The closest was Clint saying him and Cobra were by themselves until Tannis met them. Probably for the best, considering Laura won't even acknowledge him after his passing. Something really fucked must've happened for Clint to get full custody basically as soon as they broke up, if I understand the timeline right.

His diet was shit, and he smoked and drank constantly after already being born premature with underdeveloped lungs and god knows what other conditions we weren't privy to. Knowing that, it could arguably be said it was a shock he lasted as long as he did.

i believe the stress of whatever was going on when he made that last video caused his heart to go. i wish he could have made it to the hospital but with clint out of the country it was just not in the cards. i believe only clint could get josh to goto the hospital, and it was just unfortunate timing. i’m not blaming clint, he has to live his own life as well

I honestly think, even at death's door, he still would've fought Clint on that. The only thing that could've happened is if he told Cobes that they were just going to the counselor and drove him to the hospital against his will, which still isn't a guarantee that he'd live.

He was saying in the video " we'll get through this Youtube", he had no intention of calling for help. It's sad, but it was the inevitable end for him. With Clint confirming he read all the messages after he died, he definitely read about the Jessica seed theory, and has gotten the full autopsy by this point. He has no obligation to release it, but it's clear he wasn't poisoned at this point.

I guess I'm rambling, but he truly did live the way he wanted to the bitter end, and it was most likely the combo of all the random drugs, alcohol, duster and horrible diet. Clint didn't do anything wrong in regards of Cobes death, and I hope he doesn't feel bad is what I'm saying I guess.

One of the things I've been thinking about since the stream is that, as much as I hate to say it, this was going to happen regardless. I'm going to miss Cobes; a lot of people will. However, it just sucks that Cobes never took the time to try and at least improve his health for his family. It kills me knowing he'll never see his nephew.
 
It is very clear from that beautiful remembrance that Clint enjoyed his son in a similar way to many of us. Amused, but rooting for him.

Obviously, he also enjoyed Josh in other ways as well, not least of all with the unconditional love that only exists between a father and son. I am so deeply happy and grateful that they were on good terms when Josh passed. I cannot imagine how much it would have hurt both of them to have left things off badly.

Thank you Clint for doing this for the community and for Josh's memory. I take back anything bad I've ever said about you as a father, it is clear you understood your boy better than anyone else and did everything you could to help him and make his life better. RIP Cobes and fuck the A-Logs

The results of years of heavy smoking and drinking, an increasingly sedentary lifestyle from having his joy of riding bike taken away, doing dumb shit like huffing, constant stress+depression and a terrible diet. Definitely wasn't the result of the 8 seeds NAL sent him in the care pack, though I respect the spirit of that schizopost
 
Man I'm watching the memorial video and the amount of shit his dad got from redditors is just sad. I hope people that do that shit reevaluate their lives and find a fucking hobby.
 
He was such a sweet little boy. I really got a good sense of what he must have been like, one of those really animated talkative weird kids you know that just kind of don’t mesh well with other children. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of him being bullied his entire life. I really hope that he knew how much we liked him - genuinely liked him - and how much we enjoyed watching him.
 
I feel like we got pieces of this in the Clinterview and it's been hinted at whenever Clint has chimed in, but this time we had his sisters and Tannis as well. Paints a totally different picture of how he was, and how truly tragic he became. I was watching some of the older streams this past month, and I'd completely forgotten about the enthusiasm he had for basically everything. Fuck the trolls.
