Sometimes it's just families wishes, really. I've got my mom's ashes, but we buried my grandpa.I know burial funerals are very expensive, but did Clint have Cobes cremated instead of buried because he didn't want there to be a grave?
Would he be worried it would be vandalised? Don't know if I'm missing something like it was Cobes' wishes.
It's a real shame though. This might be a bit spergy but if I ever found myself in Wyoming I would make a trip to Casper and do a walk through the cemetery looking for his gravestone, to pay respects. It's the closest anyone is ever going to have to sitting down and have a couple cold ones with him.Sometimes it's just families wishes, really. I've got my mom's ashes, but we buried my grandpa.
Agreed, definitely don’t think it’s a sperg moment. I mean, Josh loved cemeteries after all. Lost my grandfather last month and we had him cremated, but my grandparents had purchased a burial plot years ago, so his ashes were ‘buried’ there. I would do the same, aka stopping by the cemetery if I ever came through Casper, which is very, very highly unlikely. Sentiment still remains regardlessIt's a real shame though. Maybe look for some of the spots seen in the 2nd documentary and his videos/livestreams.
It's probably for the best though, I wouldn't want strangers visiting my family member's grave. There's a non-negligible chance it would be vandalised within a few years.
He can always be buried later if they wish, I think most cemeteries allow you to buy a plot and bury remains much later.
Real talk, I think Clint got him cremated so the boy has a final resting place far away from trole interference. I don't keep up with the a-log thread and Cobes' a-logs in general, so I couldn't tell you if it's a real worry or not but if I were in Clint's stead, I would 1000% rather have my boy in my vicinity. I'm not american so I don't know if keeping ashes of the deceased is super common but it's generally not common in my european country.I know burial funerals are very expensive, but did Clint have Cobes cremated instead of buried because he didn't want there to be a grave?

My grand fantasy was to actually go visit cobra and have a beer with him. (Not too fuck with him, or get on stream) a grave would be nice, to sit down and drink a shot of something.Keeping ashes isn't uncommon here but usually people want something done with their ashes. I doubt Cobes had a will put together or talked much about it to his family though. It's sad that there won't be a gravestone for him but I know for a fact some blowhard dipshit would fuck with it so I don't blame the family.
He might choose to be buried with his ashes when he dies. That’s not uncommon.pure speculation on my part but I think the cremation and keeping the ashes is to avoid malicious actors pulling an Ethan Ralph at the grave.
I’m not that surprised about the cremation as it is becoming more popular but the key thing I noticed, is in my experience, you put the ashes after in a enclosed tomb on a small grave plot or put the ashes in a mausoleum with a name. It’s not wild to keep the ashes but I see far more doing this than keeping it in their homes.
I could be way off the reservation and it is just what the family wanted but not all people are well wishing of Josh now that he’s passed. Browse through the comments on some videos of Josh and there are still people who genuinely don’t like the guy. I’m sure Clint knows these people won’t just disappear and forget all about Josh now that he’s passed.
The bookshelf looked familiar. This is from Clints Facebook. This honestly fucked me up.
I think this is honestly, and I mean this sincerely, Clints most artistic photo. The peak of his photogrophy is all right here. It perfectly encapsulates the end of Josh's journey. This fucking picture just broke my heart all over again dude.
Edited to add gay emotions.
Some people choose to have their ashes spread together. Clint might have instructions for the two of them to be scattered somewhere special to the two of them. He doesn't have to decide immediately. He might choose to be buried with his ashes when he dies. That’s not uncommon.
We can do that if we coordinate. The city needs to do something. Like a bench at the cemetery with his name on it. Would be nice to have a place to visit to commemorate him.
