I was listening to old MATIs while doing work, and I got to the ones that were about Cobes dying recently. I wondered why everyone was going ape shit about giving Cobes a play button posthumously, Null is wrong. Youtube did not flat out deny Cobes a play button. Cobes did not get a play button for two reasons.

First and most importantly, he is retarded, and unless it involved him signing up for porn websites he famously had difficulty navigating websites and redeeming things. He could not even redeem a pizza hutt gift card. He had to request the play button via his creator dashboard in youtube. It's extremely easy to do, it gives you a notification when you qualify for one. He did not have the intelligence to do this on his own without someone holding his hand.

Secondly, you have to be strike free for 90 days before you get approved. He was not strike free, even if you disregard the false flagging mass report that got him banned, he had strikes for his own actions, like getting jerked off on stream by NAL, etc. He was not 90 days strike free for a long time. He eventually was, but see point 1) he was too retarded to fill out the form for his button.

He could have easily gotten his play button if he filled out the request with one of his buddy trolls guidance. He just did not give a fuck, especially after trolls had sent him probably a dozen fake ones since 2018.

I got my cobes tribute tattoo today. i know saying this will out who i am to a selective few lurkers, which at this point, i don't really care.

im working on a sort of "required reading" section, and id like opinions as to linking documentaries.
the list of stuff i have to link so far (no particular order):
empire of dirt - yourfavouriteson
the decay of kingcobrajfs - nick nobody
gothic king cobra - trappped
kingcobrajfs: now its a party - mountain wizards
kingcobrajfs (multi part comprehensive history) - bitesize cobra vids
i considered putting the turkey tom doc on here as well, but i cant decide if its poor taste since he tends to take a bit more of a jeering stance. i also dont know that it really adds anything to the picture, but in the interest of keeping a broad perspective i considered it. are there any big ones im missing?

-i also want to create a fanart page, but im not 100% sure how best to go about it, so once again im just gonna say hey if youve made (f)art of cobes and want it hosted on the site drop me a link.

I really want another, more serious attempt at a "Cobrapedia". I don't understand why every prior attempt ended so poorly, presumably because the popularity of KF made non-Chris chan lolcows having entire dedicated wikis a bit redundant. But out of any of them I feel like would benefit from the added effort, it was the Cobraverse.

i like the idea, mostly because i like the sheer amount of goofy out there content there is of cobes. it would certainly be a project id love to see done, but i have no clue how or where youd even start. the boy is vast and unknowable. i kind of like what an entity he is though.

Also, I think the troles section on Boglimpedia should have some mentions of the Reddit superstars such as Kladklad, Atheist, Oprah, Games and Museum.

Allegedly, Kladklad had an enormous archive of Cobra content that he deleted in a shitfit over some mod slapfight.

Edit: the shirt pictured isn't an actual Cobra creation. I think it's by Games.
