While I don't like how Yourfavoriteson handled the filming of the documentary, I feel Empire of Dirt provides a great account of the last years of Cobes. But more importantly, I feel the interview he did with Clint and Cobes is essential viewing to any hardcore Cobra fan, it really explains the relationship he and his dad had. For whatever problems I had with Empire of Dirt, that interview made up for it.

Its the most unethical YouTube interview I have ever seen. I'm no journalist but I believe rule 101 of interviewing someone is that they are not intoxicated and the inserting yourself into the story was really just an awfull Hunter S Thompson gonzo garbage.

The guy just wanted to make his own Full Force. The self insertion was so infuriating. The subject of the documentary is the subject of the documentary, what we're here for, not the interviewer or his crew.

It's one thing if 100% of the viewers have no idea who KingCobraJFS is so you're our introducer. But most viewers came to the doc already knowing Cobes. The more I think about it the more I think it's like Full Force, he even talks to the camera retroactively like how iDubbz does in his doc.

We did get a lot of interesting moments and information though, mostly just because seeing Cobes interacting with people in person was very uncommon at this point. But some things weren't due to the merits of yourfavoriteson, the Albertson's tresspassing were accidental findings and I believe it was Clint's idea to do the interview after? Might be wrong there.

Size update: wiki now contains roughly 158 thousand words. For comparison, that's roughly 634 double-spaced pages of text, and is about the same as the combined lengths of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I check this site once a day to see if his trailer is listed for sale again (You have to scroll down a little bit for the current listings). Maybe Clint is going to keep the trailer as his own cross-dressing dungeon.
 
I know I'm a bit late, but its sad to hear that he passed away. Tuned in at least once a week to see what he's up to for the past couple years. It had to happen sooner or later - RIP.

The first thing I ever saw of him was a picture of Cobra giving the camera a confused look while wearing ugly satanistic make-up, back when I didn't know what a lolcow was or that weirdos of his caliber even existed. It was strange watching him deteriorate this quickly in just a few years.

Harley whatever-his-last-name of Epic Meal Time appeared on an H3 video (do not recommend watching, I thought there would be lolcow drama, it's just slop) with his background Cobes' old apartment, presumably since Cobes was a fan and vice versa. RIP :(
