I went to visit my dad yesterday and brought up how I was bummed out over my favorite internet weirdo dying and it turns out he already knew about Cobra from some guy at work.
This boy was way more well know than I thought.

No. Cobes was a silly character that made a fuckton of terrible life decisions and was really just guilty of being dumb and stubborn. We liked to joke about him but only giant Redditfags actually wished him ill. Most lolcows are actual sex offenders or just plain have absolutely no positive characteristics and Chris is no exception.

I'll be honest, and say I'll feel weird about Chris dying. As a fan of sonic and pokemon, and later being a lolcow person, Chris was always this sort of funhouse mirror of how fans could've ended up to me. Up until the mother fucking, I had a softer spot for Chris, and I probably always will feel for him, in one way or another. I still remember being a young teen, and my friend (who was an autistic, adult-age sonic fan) showing me Chris vandalizing his own ED page. In hindsight, there's an irony that my friend and I were laughing at, and looking down at, a guy who wasn't too far off from us, but it's what got me interested in this whole lolcow thing.

I don't remember how I was introduced to Cobes' content, but I remember everything from being shown Chris. I think this says something about Chris's presence, and it'll be weird when he's gone.

I remember learning of him back in the early 2010's and even adding him as a friend on Facebook, it was funny to see Null do a stream on Kengel because i CONSTANTLY saw this weird fucking guy commenting on everything Chris posted back in the day and i didn't know what was his deal, then suddenly "Oh, wait, his name was Kengal? I know this guy".

Yeah, i don't know. Him fuckin his mother was the last straw, but i think i never liked Chris because when i learned of him he had already started to crossdress, so i never really felt that kind of affinity for him. I remember that my first time actually seeing "in real time" Chris doing anything crazy was him pepper-spraying people because of Sonic Boom.
 
I was watching Snake Bones earlier and they reminded me of this hilarious moment.

Chris Chan died a long time ago. I am sure people will profess their undying love and admiration for him and talk about how he was just tragic victim of bullies and an amazing artist. However, golden age chris died with the golden age Internet. The tranny husk who believes himself to be jesus reincarnated that fucked his senile dementia ridden mother will not get any emotions out of me when he croaks. Maybe 10 years ago, but not now. I have already mourned that time period.

Seriously though most of those things are either exaggerated (Josh occasionally got obsessed with women and got on their nerves. I guess you could call that stalking but it is about the tamest possible version of that.), accidents (Like Josh thinking weed was awesome and not really getting that it is bad for animals.) or just him being weird like when he killed his sex dolls.
