Recipe: One shot of Hatozaki, one glug of Kikkoman, one unintentionally large dash of sesame oil, a very expired ramen packet, and a sprinkle of MSG.
Use chopsticks to emulsify the sesame oil while trying (and, thankfully, failing) to get the salt from the ramen pack to dissolve
Review: Much like every single recipe of his that I've seen, I had a very visceral "Oh dear god no" reaction
Sooooo salty, I can still taste it ten minutes later. There may be something to the sesame oil in a cocktail but it's probably just Stockholm syndrome, it's the only lingering flavor that isn't gag-inducing
Visually, there is something I like about how the glass started off clear, after emulsification there were little speckles of oil sticking to the side of the glass, then at the end the glass was just greasy. Feels very fitting for whatever reason
For the Hatozaki itself, my mouth is tainted so I don't think it's fair to review it as I currently am but it does smell nice. It's a bit bland at the start but has a nice burn at the end, though that could just be the salt having left sores on my tongue
