"I like (Insert artist name)" is just a general statement anyone would use for an artist they don't hate I guess. But I don't think I have ever met a Sabbath fan who didn't know the Dio era of Sabbath just as well as the Ozzy era. The Tony Martin era actually had more studio albums than the Dio era, not to mention one of the greatest rock/metal drummers ever playing on 3 of them. The Ian Gillan record was a one off, but God damn was Born Again a sick record, and no one listens to the Glenn Hughes album. There was a 6th singer who did fill in for Dio and Ozzy on 3 occasions playing nearly full sets each show. Dio was acting like a little bitch and refused to open for Ozzy back in 1992 During the original "No More Tours" Tour for 2 shows, and Ozzy had bronchitis at a show I was at in 2004, and for all 3 of those shows, the Metal God himself Rob Halford filled in.

Probably because he never had a "crush" on Stephanie. One of Stephanie's friends introduced him to her, and set them up. Doesn't sound like there was ever an infatuation / stalking period like with his actual crushes.
