Clint gifted him an Ozzy record (I think "Blizzard of Oz") a couple of years ago, but he doesn't own a record player. Apparently Clint had it from his youth? It was an older pressing, but Clint always pushbacked on Josh's taking to any "satanic music" when he was growing up, so I'm not sure how genuine that is. He could have bought it off Discogs for a dollar.

Anyway, you're overestimating Josh. He's literally retarded. He doesn't know how to pirate anything and just looks up YouTube videos anymore. He used to legitimately pay for music on iTunes/Apple Music and that's where he has some Ozzy songs. Undoubtedly he's a poser, but some of that is due to him being legitimately really stupid. He doesn't know any deep cuts or anything. When he's rattled off songs he likes, he always includes pretty recent Ozzy songs (like "Believer" to "Patient Number 9") along with the ones the average person knows. I find it funny he often mentions "the collab with Miss Piggy" and I'm still unsure if he actually knows that Ozzy's version of "Stayin' Alive" is a cover which he also mentions as a favorite. He used to use money in the early days to "load up his iTunes gift card" to buy music.

Josh himself did do a pretty funny Bee Gees cover of "I Started a Joke" -- an apt song for him. He calls them the "Bee Ghees" (like clarified butter) and realizing the lyrics made him go into a societal relations rant in the middle of the cover.

Josh's obsession with Ozzy really went into full force after leaving his basement sometime. He used to be more into Cradle of Filth, then for whatever reason, he started talking about Ozzy a lot. As an old Cobrahead, I remember this pivot being a bit odd since there wasn't any clear indication why and he always was pretty casual about it before. Ozzy got elevated to God status fairly quickly.

Dani Filth, the singer from Cradle of Shit mentioned big a huge Ozzy fan in some interview and that appears to have rewired Josh at a genetic level to worship Ozzy. I honestly do not recall him mentioning Ozzy back in the basement days.
