Clint son bad if, Josh not group him put home in why is?
Clint will never cut Josh off 100%. Now is probably the sweet spot for the both of them. Clint is free to frolic around Ireland "intimacy coaching" and photographing ugly collage skags and Josh is free to be a boglim with a roof over his head at the end of the day. I don't think cobes will ever cut himself off from papa nips since he relies on him to do every single adult task for him.
Taxes? Filed by papa nips.
Groceries? Dad-Dashed, at least in the past.
Bills? Handled by the homedad on time.
Transportation? Dude-ber'd a ride from dad.
Getting evicted? There to bail his ass out twice.
Josh is an absolute boglim retard who always puts his old man between a rock and a hard place, badmouths him all the time, and has even mocked him for almost dying in a car crash. But IMO he knows deep down that without daddy dearest there for him he'd be in a much worse spot and guaranteed to be homeless. Pic mostly unrelated, just the thread tax toobz.

Exactly. With Cyrax it’s literally the same song and dance on a neverending loop, and that’s why I found him boring for so long. And least with Cobes there’s more variety. But comparing the two is like comparing apples and oranges in the long run.
 
All the Clint talk has me wondering, does Clint have a plan for Josh after he passes away? Or is it a Cyrax/Barb scenario where there is no plan. I could honestly see the latter. Clint has to know the boglims health is in the toilet and he's one infection away from dying from sepsis. My bet is he has something simple in his will like setting up a trust that'll pay off the trailer mortgage and utilities for a while, leaving Cobes with his tugboat to waste every month. That'll keep him alive without giving him the chance to blow a lump sum on dank food hacks, drink combos, and bells.

Josh surviving Clint is a thought I never considered, as long as daddy dearest keeps away from traffic situations involving trucks I don't see it happening.

It’s sad but Clint will more than likely outlive Josh. The BOYs ODD and low iq means he’s not capable of following any medical advice, and he’s going to need a lot of procedures going into his 40s. Dying of a preventable infection isn’t goth.

My bet is it's the other way around. In my professional amateur opinion, Clint knows that barring a freak accident he will outlive his son. Not a pleasant thought but he probably already has a a life insurance policy taken out on him and a plan in place to clear the estate, settle debts, and move on ASAP.
Though he is smarter financially than people give him credit for if he's still making that car crash settlement money work for him 20 years later. So he probably does have a decent sized trust fund set up with a contingency written into his will to have the executor of a trust handle the payment of bills, rents, and absolute essentials for the beneficiary (Josh) in the event of Clint's death.
(Big powerevel buuuuut) -T. Have a disabled family member and the same arrangement was made. So I'd imagine money man Clint would do this on his own too, if not under the advisement of disability services or family court since IIRC he mulled over petitioning for conservatorship of the boglim when he turned 18 but decided not to.

I would hope that Tanis or one of his half-sisters would care enough to keep managing his SSI and drop off groceries once in a while.
 
How often do you think Clint checks on him through a phone call or in-person? I feel like there's going to be a week period where Cobes is offline and not picking up, and then Clint goes by and finds his bloated boglim boy dead from choking on his own vomit in his sleep... That or he passes out from a raging sepsis infection, knocks his head on the way down and succumbs to his illness and injuries.

I think pretty often, Cobra's trailer is only five minutes away from Clint's house. Some awoogas may be Clint texts as well.
