That’s a reasonable assumption, it’s been the going rumour for a bit but Clint seems to think it’s very real from the interview. We can say what we want about Clint being a fucking doofus with his photography stuff but he’s not stupid.
I admit i'm only using my own intuition and have no way of proving this, but I think the bird story is true. He doesn't lie the same way Warlord or other compulsives will - about literally anything and everything. Generally, his lies are copes and serve to protect his ego/make him look cool/reinforce delusions. Theyre funny because it's exactly how a toddler would lie to impress older kids or adults. For example the cat in a cage outside his building that bit him was almost certainly true, given his injury, and if it wasnt it might involve him saying he blasted it with lightning bolts from his wand or w/e.

That's all well and good, but in my experience with addiction, most drugs (including alcohol) hit harder on an empty stomach. And nothing is more important than that next fix, so you put off eating in order to have an empty stomach when you do get that fix. But then the next one isn't far off... And the next thing you know it's been days since you've eaten. Eventually you're just sober enough at some point that you can't ignore the hunger, so you cram your face with whatever easy shit is around. That cycle often isn't something you're necessarily thinking about doing either. It just kind of, idk, happens? Sometimes it's deliberate, but that doesn't really matter.
He has gotten fat as fuck. He has gained probably ~50 lbs in the last two years. Tanis buys him groceries every week with his tugboat funds and he always has tons of snacks and shit in his kitchen that don't stack up, they steadily disappear.
It's both, I think. He once got a fan care package with some tequila or vodka that was "weed flavoured" and he'd try a shot on cam, he'd simply hold the liquor in his mouth for several seconds and you could see the mental battle he was having with himself over whether or not to swallow because it was a livestream. And once he swallowed it, he'd begin drooling and hacking and coughing, then proclaim it to be "smooth".

Nah I'm convinced that he dropped that entirely with how much he's used DoorDash the past several years and how much weight he's put on this year. My memory may be fuzzy but didn't he do some "baconator challenge" and wolfed down three of them on stream at one point towards the end there at his second apartment? Since time in memoriam, the greasier and unhealthier the slop, the better it is to him. As for the "food hacks" I remain convinced that in at least 75% of cases he records himself taking a few bites, says "it's pretty good toobs.", then throws it out and orders some DoorDash.
