I don't think nal can do shit. You can't bait someone into a freak out just to hit record and then sit on it and use it against them to try and control their life. Yea she likely could have done something right then and there and used the footage as proof but thats not her goal. The problem is josh is more retarded than nal and likely is terrified of the trouble he will get in if "she chooses"

she can ABSOLUTELY do that especially if it devolves into physical violence. it’s as easy as getting him riled up and throwing something at his general direction, for her to start recording when he does the same thing. now that becomes evidence she can show to the cops, or to her discord, or whoever, as evidence of him being a woman-beater. why else would she be recording and sharing their fights and sending voice memos to “friends” talking about how many times he’s put his hands on her? if she gets more attention and asspats from being a victim than she does from being Queen Cobra she’s going to do that.
